Hey Joe: You lose all credibility when you resort to calling libs “America haters.” You don’t know a damned thing about what Chomsky or any lib feels about our country other than that we don’t approve of what Bush & Co. have done in our name. We love America more than you could ever imagine, apparently. What irks you is that we don’t constantly harp on and on about America being the greatest country in the world, but instead think America can do better. I guess you don’t think we can do better, since you and the rest of the right are so satisfied with the status quo, as long as that means that Standard Oil is making record profits. And as for anyone caring for Fidel or Hugo being “strange in the head,” well, at least for Hugo, he won a majority of votes in a democratic election, and even Fidel, whether you choose to accept it or not, has a lot of support from Cubans in Cuba. It’s nice that you’re able to diagnose them all as nuts from the comfort of your probably plush retirement digs in Anytown, USA, without knowing a whit about what their day to day lives are like, with or without Castro and Chavez. Perhaps they’re just sick of the crap, starvation and little hope of ever pulling themselves out of the poverty that the wealthy corrupt corporatists were happy to impose on them for so many generations, and as bad as Castro & Chavez may be, they’re at least better than how things used to be.

for a “retired fire captain, a retired Army Infantry Officer with the rank of major and graduated with a Masters in high energy physics” who claims to have a better than average IQ, you don’t seem particularly bright to me. I have an idea–why not try minding our own business, and staying out of the affairs of foreign nations who are no threat to us for a change? No, I guess Chevron wouldn’t like that, would they?

If you meant Noam chomsky thats strange because i have heard most of his political theories are so much rubbish. What I have read from him made me realize he should stick to linguistics. He is the antithesis of the right wing in that he hates America. Anyone who would care for Castro or Chavez is strange in the head. Look at the stalinistic media grab going on down in Venezuala right now. Chavez is like Fe. A very short half-life. Noam likes these guys and no rational person would feel the same.

we have killed very few civillians overall in the war and as for national treasure, we spent far far more during WW2 with far less ability to create wealth and we seem to have done very well after that . Read mor history is my suggestion to you.
