While it’s nice to think what Modern Gore would be like in office, let’s not forget that when he actually WAS a Senator, his record was not exactly a brilliant beacon of progressive policy. He voted to confirm Scalia, for God’s sake.

Oh dear, you’ve screwed up again. I can only conclude you have no idea what you are talking about…. mikey’s strawman is very simple: he claims that Gore supported the Iraq War by providing quotations that support a completely different conclusion – that Gore thought the 2002 intelligence on WMD was decent.

Very well said. I wrote a lette to Olbermann telling him the same thing. I had to replay his responses a half dozen times in order to get an inkling as to what he was talking about. He also said to Olbermann that he disagreed with Cindy Sheehan but at the end of his response said that the facts and the policy seemed to be more relevant in the past than they are today, which was pretty much the point that Mrs. Sheehan was attempting to make. Gore has to engage less in obfuscation by speaking in a much more clearer way to the general public.

Please tell me, troll, how Al Gore could possibly lose. He won in 2000. Now can you see anyone who voted for him in 2000 voting for any RepubliCON?
