Biddle has written that we MUST stay in Iraq no matter the outcome. He has been critical of the Bush Administration's plans for a withdrawal after victory. Yes, in the present political discussion, Biddle is to the right of the Bush administration. His arguments may be sound, he worries about the effects of withdrawal and the possibility of genocide. He calls the situation in Iraq a civil war. It seems that his view of this is close to that of another fine Delawarean, Joe Biden. Lord, what a mess we are in... Only a year ago, many were part of the Iraqi Insurgency that was attacking our troops. They want Water, Sewage treatment, Electricity, and an economy with Jobs for their people. This is a window of Opportunity that we better take advantage of. It also shatters the Un-Nuanced myth that the Iraqi Insurgecy is the same as Al Qaeda.
