Scammers target military families.
“The American Red Cross has warned military families to beware of a scam in which callers tell family members their service member has been injured in Iraq, with the apparent goal of getting the service member’s Social Security number and date of birth.”

May 31st, 2007 at 4:48 pmThere was an incident in Oregon a few years ago where a woman was cashing and spending her son’s paychecks from the Guard while he was stationed in Iraq. Some people are so low and vile that they give slugs a good name. These scammers are in the same category.

It has everything to do with some lowlifes, who have no respect for anyone or anything, that would target these families with loved ones in Iraq. We’re talking about human decency, and the fact that these scammers don’t have any.
