I’ve been reading the posts on TP this morning. On almost every one you come in early and post something that you know will rile up the left-leaning people who come here. Just because 93.5% of Americans think that we will have troops in Iraq when Bush leaves office does not mean that they think it is a good thing. It just means that they recognize that getting our troops out of Iraq will be very difficult with the Decider Guy and the RepubliCON lemmings are stopping us from bringing our troops home. I believe we will have troops in Iraq when Bush leaves office. And I think it is a sad thing. I believe the only way we will be able to get our soldiers out of Iraq is if we vote only for candidates who will promise to bring them home IMMEDIATELY if they are elected. And that does not include Hillary because she thinks we should have a continued military presence in Iraq even if we bring most of our soldiers home.
“93.5% of Americans who “think U.S. troops *should* still be in Iraq when U.S. president George W. Bush leaves officeâ€
So tell me Mr. President, why should the heading say that since it is not true. Did you bother to read the linked post? I guess you didn’t since the question read:
Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? – “U.S. troops would still be in Iraq when U.S. president George W. Bush leaves office.”
Please tell me where the word “should” occurs in that sentence.
BTW, they offer classes in critical thinking at most junior colleges. It sounds like you should take one of those classes since you have zero critical thinking skills.
But Muckdog, Why are we fighting them OVER HERE? The Bush/Cheney strategy said that we wouldn’t fight them OVER HERE if we fought them OVER THERE. Yet we keep having plots interrupted OVER HERE?
Besides these plots have been busted by using “law enforcement tactics” which is something that has been ridiculed by the Republicans.
Come on asschapper, Bush is making more terrorists by his actions than Osama could ever dream of.
Michael you are deluded: “Some Americans know a strong man when they see one!” Surely you mean in the ’strong’ rank sense. Everything is rank about Bush, his policies, his planning, his obfuscation… He ranks all right!
notes to valiant venus and GSD: First, you’re stupid. Next, the Democrats have voted overwhelmingly to continue funding the war. They know what Bush knows. The war must continue. Radical Islam seeks to wipe us out.
And the Dems took you for fools during the 2006 election. They flip-flopped on you. But whatever it takes to win an election seems to be the Dem credo.
The attempt on JFK today would happen every day of the year if we weren’t over there. The radical Islams want YOU dead.
“The attempted terrorism against JFK airport today is just another reason to continue the surge in the Middle East.”
You mean the four additional bozos who were “planning” an attack and allowed themselves to be infiltrated by the FBI. I can tell you now that any real terrorist organization isn’t going to allow themselves to be infiltrated by the FBI. It’s just four more bozos to add to the list of all the “terrorists” we have captured. All this when real American terrorists have free rein in this country and are rarely mentioned in the media.
Think Progress .
Many troops returning to war while half have not gone at all
is this progress?
could be, determines how you look at it i guess.
I so hate GWB and His freedumbs. Don,t you? http://www.kdhnews.com/news/story.aspx?id=16328
“The attempt on JFK today would happen every day of the year if we weren’t over there. The radical Islams want YOU dead.”
God, you are a scaredy cat piece of sh!t. Your dad ashamed of what a scared little piece of sh!t you are. Good thing you peope aren’t in charge or we would be in a real mess. Oh wait you are and we are.
The dems are making money off of the war just like the republicans. That is why they voted to continue it. It has nothing to do with getting attacked everyday, you chicken sh!t. Grow some ba||s.
“Next, the Democrats have voted overwhelmingly to continue funding the war.”
Excuse me, but the Democrats did not vote overwhelmingly. Way more voted no than yes. Unfortunately enough voted yes to allow the bill to pass. But, I seriously doubt it will happen again. Because the Dems know if they do it again, they are dead as far as a party is concerned.
And please don’t try to scare us with another four bozos caught after being infiltrated trying to play “terrorist”. There hasn’t been anything close to a terrorist plot in this country since 911. Every so-called plot has been broken up by police and FBI action. If there were true terrorists in this country, they would not be dumb enough to allow themselves to be infiltrated.
The so called “terrorist plots” are just the FBI going around, getting into groups of people, talking them into doing something, then busting them for it. These too are false flag events. This is the Bush admin using fear to keep us fighting with the rest of the world.

Don’t forget the “Flat Earth” crowd while you’re at it, Michael. Your side needs all the numbers it can get at this point. Donations are down so low for RNC tht they just laid off all their phone solicitors.
Perhaps you can claim “the dead” as a group that still supports BuschCo.
To withdraw troops during his term, George Bush would either have to gain critical psychological “insight” into his psyche in order to admit his fallibility OR somehow have a “spiritual experience” which would result in newly-found morality and conscience….both of which are as remote as the craters on the moon!
Scrolling through these posts, it’s clear that the “height of stupidity” has once again been breached by our resident troll….ugh!~ Better things to do than to dialogue with an uneducated idiot….ta-ta till later friends!
The scenario is parallel – to appear on a fictitious news front such as Faux news is tantamount to political self-destruction; to dialogue with a troll is the same. It’s simply an exercise in mental masturbation which leads to absolutely no intelligent repartee…
For the record, if Bush ate a live human child on live television, I would support his impeachment.

Atr this point, considering BuschCo’s propensity for, oh, how shall we put it, LYING endlessly, let’s wait to see if this plot turns out to be more substantial than the Fort Dix plot, or Luis Padilla’s dirty bomb, or the guys out to blow up the Sears Tower, before you try to express your gratitude to the Deciderer in a way a little too embarrassing to mention here.
what strikes me with such clarity is just how racist neocons are. I think the immigration bill really brought them out en masse and they could no longer hid their rampant racism.
Now their true colors come shining through and they can’t pretend they aren’t racists any more.

As long as the goat from Burkina-Faso is in-country, we have a coalition (technically).
“failure in iraq would endanger the american citizens because failure in iraq emboldens the enemies of a free iraq….” – this is what bush said a couple of days ago (and doesn’t make a whole lot of sense to me) – so only americans are at risk? – nobody else? – then damn right there will still be troops in iraq after the chimp has gone – and the fighting will go on and people will still get blown up by homemade bombs and young americans will continue to lose their lives in a conflict with no end in sight – what an insane state of affairs
The problem w/ actually paying attention to what George says and trying to make sense of it is that you’re dealing w/ either an idiot, or a madman, or both. This makes it technically impossible for George to make sense, period.

A little note to Kate Henry:
Heavens to Betsy, you are asking the Fat, Self-Absorbed, Lying Troll, to THINK CRITICALLY? Come on!
The IDIOT who uses the alias of “Mr. President” is a clone taken from the a$$ of the current, demented, corrupt, criminal president.
They both LOVE the current endless occupation of Iraq and they get sexual pleasure from the death of our troops and from Iraqi bystanders.
They will give you a lie instead of the truth at the drop of the hat.
BOTH mr. presidents are lying sacks of sh*t.
Don’t expect “critical thinking” from either of them.
And as far as taking classes at junior classes, the destruction of the brain of one of the “mr. presidents” by excessive doses of coke makes it IMPOSSIBLE for him to pass a class. The same probably goes for the “mr. president” clone/troll.
In my opinion the miserable trolls like, Jake, michael, and Mr. President are irrelevant to the topic, which is that polls show that 93.5% of those polled think, “U.S. troops would still be in Iraq when U.S. president George W. Bush leaves office.”
I agree with the 93.5%, but unlike the trolls, of which “Mr. President” is the meanest and dumbest, I think that, if the troops are still in Iraq at that time, it will be a bloody blot on the U.S., a country I love and pledged to defend.

Of course, I would suggest ignoring the amateur trolls, “mr. president” and “michael,” as well. They try even harder than Jake to derail the thread.
But the topic of the thread survives the trolls: Polls show that 93.5% of those polled think, “U.S. troops would still be in Iraq when U.S. president George W. Bush (a.k.a. “the current, demented, corrupt, criminal president”) leaves office.â€
If the U.S. troops are still in Iraq when we have impeached the demented, corrupt, criminal, smug, smirky, coke-addicted, sociopathic, little criminal, our troops will still be dying in increasing numbers, and the ex-president will still be getting a sexual surge from their deaths.

June 2nd, 2007 at 3:04 pmBut Muckdog, Why are we fighting them OVER HERE? The Bush/Cheney strategy said that we wouldn’t fight them OVER HERE if we fought them OVER THERE. Yet we keep having plots interrupted OVER HERE?
Besides these plots have been busted by using “law enforcement tactics” which is something that has been ridiculed by the Republicans.
Come on asschapper, Bush is making more terrorists by his actions than Osama could ever dream of.
Heckuva job.

June 2nd, 2007 at 3:04 pmMichael you are deluded: “Some Americans know a strong man when they see one!” Surely you mean in the ’strong’ rank sense. Everything is rank about Bush, his policies, his planning, his obfuscation… He ranks all right!

So what did Ahmadinejad actually say? To quote his exact words in Farsi:
“Imam ghoft een rezhim-e ishghalgar-e qods bayad az safheh-ye ruzgar mahv shavad.”
Word by word translation:
Imam (Khomeini) ghoft (said) een (this) rezhim-e (regime) ishghalgar-e (occupying) qods (Jerusalem) bayad (must) az safheh-ye ruzgar (from page of time) mahv shavad (vanish from).

June 2nd, 2007 at 3:08 pmnotes to valiant venus and GSD: First, you’re stupid.
June 2nd, 2007 at 3:12 pm“Basicaly Its saying the current regime must be removed from this history.”
Yep, nothing about Israel being wiped off of the map. He is talking about the people in charge.
It is nothing more than people around the world calling for the Bush administration to be ousted.
June 2nd, 2007 at 3:15 pm“The attempted terrorism against JFK airport today is just another reason to continue the surge in the Middle East.”

June 2nd, 2007 at 3:17 pm“Next, the Democrats have voted overwhelmingly to continue funding the war.”
June 2nd, 2007 at 3:19 pm“There hasn’t been anything close to a terrorist plot in this country since 911.”
And that wasn’t either. That was a false flag event created to keep us in the Middle East for 50 years or more.

June 2nd, 2007 at 3:30 pmThe so called “terrorist plots” are just the FBI going around, getting into groups of people, talking them into doing something, then busting them for it. These too are false flag events. This is the Bush admin using fear to keep us fighting with the rest of the world.

There is nothing that this drunken AWOL coward can do that you and your kind will not forgive, overlook, and lie to dismiss. You, my friend, are not an American. You are a fascist pig and too ignorant to know it. Why don’t you go away to a board where you might find some idiots who agree with you.
It is obvious that you overlook the bullheadedness of the untreated alcholic in the White House. That is not being strong. It is being driven by an ego and being surrounded by moonbats like you who do not have the courage to stand up to him and tell him he is wrong. Go away, dumbass.

My pleasure, “Buck Fush.”
