Bush and Cheney have both made mistakes in my opinion. However, there were quite a few reasons that the US went to war with IRAQ. None of them being that they were in connection with Al Queda. However, they had the money and the power within the middle east and it has already been found as fact that the Iraqi Intelligence Officer was in attendance at the pre 9-11 planning meetings.. that is the extent to which I would say that Iraq had any direct involvment with 9-11. But, you have to realize that Sadam did not like the US and that he would assist anyone in doing anything to hurt the reputation of the US. The world is in a much better situation now that Sadam and his Sons are dead. I am Proud to be an American and yet even more Proud to have had a chance to serve my country as an active duty soldier.
