Why are you thanking Congress for this? They had nothing to do with it. He did it via an “executive order”. I’m sure that Congress could probably pass some law saying the President can’t do what he says he can, but the Republic enablers will make sure that it either wouldn’t pass or if it passed, that there would not be enough of a majority to overcome a veto.

Yeah, I know Fareed Zakaria. He’s the guy who has argued over and over at Salon that Repubs didn’t steal the 2004 election. That just FILLS me with confidence about the guy, especially now that we know that Repubs engaged in wide-spread “vote caging.” Sorry, Zakaria hasn’t shown me a thing.
