President Bush’s approval rating in a new AP/Ipsos poll, matching his all-time low. “In another indication of the public’s bleak mood, only 21 percent said they believe things in the U.S. are heading in the right direction, the worst mark since the AP-Ipsos poll began in December 2003.” (Via Atrios)

Bush isn’t up for reelection, so what’s the diff?

Last week it was at 29%, so this is evidence of his rebound.

Clinton did it too.

Nope, it’s not a rebound. That was a different poll that had him at 29%. You have to compare apples to apples to win this argument.

Every time there is a new poll out its always called an “all time low” but this 32 percent is greater than the 28 percent that dumbo is polling in another poll. Dont get me wrong I’m happy to see him in the gutter and would prefer that his poll numbers be 3 point 2 or 2 point 8 but this is seeming like a Faux News report now with everything being “an all time low” when other polls have lower numbers.

Ben, it’s the lowest AP IPsos poll. It is meaningful to look at the polls this way. It shows the trend very well.

Are you suggesting that would indicate something meaningful ?
Because Pelosi is at 36%.
The Democrat led congress is at 39%.
They’re dropping a lot quicker than Bush’s approval rating.
