Yesterday, ThinkProgress noted that the New York Times, Washington Post, and USA Today had not yet written a piece covering the criticism of President Bush’s Surgeon General nominee, James Holsinger. Today, the New York Times has a story. The Washington Post prints an LA Times article of Holsinger.
Contact USA Today and request that it also start covering Holsinger: accuracy@usatoday.com
UPDATE: Sen. Hillary Clinton (D-NY) has stated that she will oppose Holsinger’s nomination.
Good, but the press needs to cover Bush drinking beer/booze in Germany as well.

Daryll has been noticibly absent lately… And it’s not like Daryll to ever miss a thread on homosexuality.
You think he finally found a nice boyfriend to keep him occupied?
Glad to see Hillary stepping up. While I still don’t trust her motives, lately, getting these Democrats to act Democratic, by whatever means necessary, is fine with me.
June 9th, 2007 at 1:02 pmI just want the press to do it’s job without us having to demand they do it.
Jeebus….
June 9th, 2007 at 1:04 pmHey un, do you have the link to Darling Daryll’s cult web site?
June 9th, 2007 at 1:06 pmI think it was posted last week, but I didn’t get a chance to go visit or bookmark it.
Add me to the list of those who have sent a comment to USA Today on this matter…
June 9th, 2007 at 1:12 pmRUCerious,
I heard about the link, but missed that thread as well. I’ve been asking around for it – hopefully someone will remember where it was and post it? :D
June 9th, 2007 at 1:13 pmAnother Rove landmine waiting to be stepped on. 3 of the leading Democrat Presidential candidates and Teddy on that committee will be a gold mine.

Wow, what nuanced political thought… so subtle, articulate, yet… yet… both pithy and degenerate at the same time.
And in their own country, to boot…

I am not, Mr.President. Robotroll 3000 is my competitor, and my standing is bolstered everytime that dusty piece of crap attempts a confrontation. That humping-quality plastic is by no means the most innovative product on the shelf. Mr. President, your endorsement of CompTROLLER V-1 has boosted sales. You have been #1 at that.

OK,
in that case I declare the whole RoboTroll 3000 series a terrorist organization.
June 9th, 2007 at 6:19 pmWell, don’t blame them TP, they’ve been consumed with finishing up documents containing top-secret U.S. information for timely faxing to Al-Qaeda.

GREAT CHOICE. Banning Robotroll is in the best interest of safety for the American people. Don’t forget the usual no-_______ and banning access to methodustoolz.com. According to intelligence, this bot may also be devising fake anti-war sites keep the enemy’s spirits going.
You’re a quick wit, Mr. President.

June 9th, 2007 at 7:13 pmGOD BLESS YOU AND PROTECT YOU Ms. CLINTON! I met your husband once and was such a giddy idiot all I could say was “God bless you!” What I want to say to you, should you by any chance see this is, DO NOT GIVE YOUR ENEMIES ANY AMMUNITION. They are legion and they are powerful. And if you make it to the White House TAX THE LIVING SH-T OUT OF THE TOP 10 PERCENT! They’ve had a free ride for TOO long! Oh, and another thing…can you take over Fox News by executive order? If Chavez can do it…the time has come for Americans to admit that a private media and a FREE media are NOT the same thing.
