I am sure you would , and loose because you are a loser and a fool who knows nothing . watch the movie and maybe then you would be a little smarter or better that that and go to iran and stand in a crowd if you got as much balls as Broder . but we know that you don’t . Wink

Yeah you did.
Otherwise we might have seen a complaint about the fabrication of the rest of the posts saying the same thing that I didn’t quote.

Did you notice that the posting date and time were quoted also ? Allows you to do this and find that post along with 10 others all saying the same thing in various discussions with other posters.

Then you can do this and discover more threads you posted in from the same day, at the same time.

Then you can do this and see if there were any claims of fabrication at the time.

It’s no longer even the “Plame outing” — which they made appear benign. Now it’s just “the Wilson case”.

But, it really was exposing the public identity of a covert deep cover CIA agent and an entire network of classified U.S. state secrets.

Broder has a nifty way of sugar coating the truth.

Actually that doesn’t contradict what I wrote.
They did indeed leave you with lots of clues of unsupported conspiracy theories the evidence doesn’t support, just as http://www.whatreallyhappened.com will.

At the end of the day though, the investigation charged one guy with lying under oath.

On the other hand, how many different individuals do you estimate were suspected of lying under oath, being secretly indicted, being close to charged, etc according to FDLs coverage ?

Really ? Are you being honest ?
Everyone who completely ignored blogs like FDL’s hourly updates on Plame knew everything they needed to about the investigation just by listening to Fitzgerald’s press statements on the TV.

These incuded the statement that this investigation wouldn’t be concerned with anything related to the Iraq war or WMD claims. Clear statements which seemed a little lost blog readers for some reason.

Perhaps you weren’t paying close enough attention?

Perhaps why ? What I just wrote was pretty clear wasn’t it ?
Several years, several dozen different conspiracy theories, thousands upon thousands of posts about a story that ended up being about a perjury conviction.
Were we paying attention to the same thing ?

If the Dems take back the House and/or Senate, but do NOTHING [to impeach Bush and Cheney], then Americans most likely would be forced to take to the streets and overthrow the federal government?!

Well no, in this case it was always last prize. Last time everyone else checked Mr Fitzmas concluded his perjury investigation and Karl Rove wasn’t charged with any such thing.

In fact, I seem to recall everyone was pretty happy with Fitz!! for giving Karl Rove a pass as you believed this would lead to bigger fish. A fish named ’scooter’ apparently.

If you’re unhappy with this outcome why not head over to FDL and donate. Show your appreciation for the stand out coverage provided by the blogophere on this issue which generated 7 million posts about a single issue with no angle going unreported less than 50 times, and still left you clueless and suprised as to the result.

You’ve got to be frickin kidding me. Just imagine if Plame and Wilson were Republicans. There is no way the GOP wouldn’t assail the “revisionist” and “activist” predisposition of the judge as merely tapping Libby on the hand.

In the larger context of the War on Terror the GOP would be clamoring for the death penalty.

broder’s article contains the clause “despite the absence of an underlying crime…”,

so

if libby was convicted for lying to investigators,

how does broder, or anyone else, know with certainty, that libby did not committ a crime?

the underlying crime, dean broder,

was lying in front of you all along.

it was lying.

If only today’s Washington Post would exhibit the same good judgement of the old Post. If they did they would pull the plug on Broder’s column.

It would be interesting to watch Broder take his “wise old man” routine and try to make it work outside the protection of the Post’s bureaucracy.
