I missed Face the Nation – I haven’t trusted Lieberman for a long time – We lived in Tehran in 1976 to the end of 1977 – the day after we arrived with our 2 little kids I looked out the window and saw a line of men in pajamas digging a ditch – I was informed they were Iraqi prisoners and this 150 was assigned to our street – we sided with Iran against Iraq then – Irrational thinking is taking over our country – - the people of these countries are just like you and me – all they want is to live their lives – instead sociopath leaders are allowed to rule the world.

Iran is the main natural foe of all Sunni terrorists both within the USA and abroad.
Sunni insurgents from Kossovo, former Yugoslavia, and from many other countries conducted thorough surveillance on the US military assets and on churches, hospitals, Twin Towers etc. throughout the USA when they were here, say, in 1999, even before the September 11, 2001. The group of them was seized in May, 2007 just before an attack in NJ. If Iran is destroyed, nothing can prevent Sunni terrorists to blow up the whole of the USA, Europe, Israel etc. Mr Joe Lieberman is the best agent of Ossama bin Laden in the USA thus.

Will it take another terrorist attack on this country for you people to get it? Every friday after afternoon prayers the Irainians chant death to America. What do you think that means? They do not consider women and children to be innocents. They will target wherever there will be the most casualties. Leiberman represents the mindset that assumes the U.S. will be victorious in an attack on Iran–or any nation–simply because we are Americans and Americans don’t lose military conflicts. Vietnam, Somalia and Iraq don’t count. How many feet underground does Fallon think Iran’s nuclear program is? A major strike would realize the most important objective, however–to kill and maim thousands of Iranians. The nuclear option is still on the table and is probably being seriously pushed by Cheney. Oh, fun!

No Joe. We shouldn’t be thinking about military action with Iran. You thought about military action Iraq, see what it got you?

Us your head, not GW’s. We need to talk and work with Iran and Syria. They are real factors in the middle east. Ignoring them will not make them go away. Get to work on it.

If you want military action so bad with Iran, last I heard, the Army was still hiring. You go get them Joe. But don’t you dare try sending more of our men to Iran when you have screwed up so bad in Iraq!

Iran is a dangerous country. They will find a way to use a nuke if they get one, make no mistake about it. If not against Israel, then against the United States. It would be nice to just let things go and mind our own business, but Muslim extremists have been kidnapping, hijacking, and killing westerners my entire life (longer). Let them show some acceptance, some diversity, some humanity. Until that day, Joe is right. We must act.
