The real beauty is that a "no confidence" motion can be brought against the Prime Minister for virtually any reason, even if the PM himself--or herself--is not the direct reason. Of course, the parliamentary system "no confidence" motions are most likely to take place only if the Loyal Opposition is strong enough to pull enough of the PM's MPs on their side.
