Joe has kids old enough to go to war however you will notice that this closet Republican is just like the other rocking chair Republicans. He loves war but he will not send his children to fight. With Joe being reelected to the Senate shows us that the Eastern establishment is not as intelligent as people thought. The reelection of Joe has proven that there are as many idiots in the East as there are in the South. If you think I am wrong then prove it. I am still waiting.

The answer is “NO”. America and the UN have been telling the smaller, weaker countries – not to even attempt to develop nuclear weapons. So, now they are “sitting ducks” for those who would attack them. And here is someone advocating rhetorical violence. That makes no sense.

Prior to the Bush team, smaller nations had the hope that they would not be attacked by larger nations. And smaller nations had hope that the U.N. would be a deterent against the designs of hostile actions from other nations.

And that’s the way it worked before this Bush team.

Who is going to protect those smaller nations from the Bush team? The United Nations? It is the duty of the chief’s of nations to protect their nations. Delegating that task to the United Nations no longer seems viable.

Back in the gunpowder age, saber rattling could not do the “final damage”. But today’s nuclear products can. And to “play” around with “bad language” in a supposedly diplomatic world just shows how badly the Bush team’s diplomacy and knowledge base are.

And America. Never been in a war that seriously damaged America. And some, perhaps, still believe their daily routines would not change by much. Just perhaps, a longer wait in service stations gas lines. Otherwise the impact on the daily lives of Americans would be acceptable.

That will likely not be the case. It is mindboggling to think that the world is wrong while the Bush team is right.

The Bush team is different.

The Enola Gay proved that today’s wars shall not be like yester-year’s wars. And the accident in Russia added to the world’s knowledge about the power of the nuclear.

It now appears that some American’s want to risk the full “dog and pony” nuclear show. After that, for those who survive, you may then have believers until they too die because of radioactive climate change.

Doesn’t the use of political rhetoric such as that used by Sen. Lieberman make sense? If Iran is training troops and supplying weaponary doesn’t isn’t it in our best interest to “rattle our sabres” and challenge them? Altough some might argue that threats especially empty ones, won’t work often they are useful vehicles with which to convey resolve. I can’t believe that Sen. Reid’s continual Eeyoreish pronouncements and the anti-Semitic rhetoric being thrown at Sen. Lieberman are productive.

In case you havenâ€™t noticed Harry the Middle East is already destabilized. Iran is funding ,supplying and training Islamic Fascists in Gaza, Iraq ,Syria and Lebanon to name a few. The president of Iran has declared he wants to wipe out Israel, the U.S and build nuclear capability; all the while the Europeans have been (negotiating?) for the last four years. Yes there is a problem and itâ€™s you Mr. Senator from Nevada and the rest of you liberal naÃ¯ve people who refuse to grasp the nature of the conflict we are engaged in.
It seems to me that there hasnâ€™t been this much collective blindness since 1938 when Neville Chamberlain was appeasing Hitler. Those who forget history are condemned to repeat it.

Our government needs to change, not continue on with the same ideological path. According to the Borgen Project, we have already spent $340 billion on the Iraq war. Endorsing other campaigns as fruitless as the Iraq war is a mistake.

To really get at the root of national security, global poverty needs to be addressed. The problem isn’t terrorism, it’s the extreme poverty that people live in that fosters the ideology. Coupled with our foreign policy, no good can come out of it all. If our government really wanted to halt terror, war and genocide, it would spend money on helping lesser-developed nations grow economically. Supporting the Millennium Development Goals to end global poverty would be more beneficial than starting wars all over the Middle East and creating more anti-Western sentiment.
