McNulty to testify before House Judiciary Committee.

Salon’s Tim Grieve reports that Paul McNulty, who recently resigned as Deputy Attorney General, will testify next week:

Word just in from the House Judiciary Committee: The Subcommittee on Commercial and Administrative Law will hold a hearing next week related to “The Continuing Investigation Into the U.S. Attorney Controversy and Related Matters.”

The witness: Paul McNulty, who has announced his resignation as deputy attorney general and — in the wake of attempts by Gonzales and Monica Goodling to implicate him in the U.S. attorney mess — may suddenly be feeling a little talkative.

UPDATE: ThinkProgress has confirmed with the House Judiciary Committee that McNulty’s hearing will be Tuesday, June 19, at 1:00 PM.

The no-confidence vote will be forgotten.

After McNulty sings, Congress will vote to Impeach Gonzo.

Is this a rerun or an entirely new episode?

I haven't been able to keep up entirely but it must be an entertaining show because it just keeps getting talked about.

Must be REALLY good TV because people keep tuning out the news about American genocide (Iraq), American torture and human rights abuses, and American irresponsibility regarding energy issues and the environment.

Can I get some more popcorn?

Like any prosecutor worth his/her salt...

...the democrats are laying out an indisputable case...

    ...for IMPEACHMENT...

    ...of not ONLY Gonzo...

    ...but his masters as well...

...too bad the holdouts on the jury...

    ...are too STUPID...

    ...to comprehend...

The house committees just have not proven to be ready for prime time. I am not sure if they are so eager to all get their "say" in vice developing a sound questioning strategy but I wished they would take a few hints from the Senate, especially Sen Whitehouse on how to approach this subject. Leave all the rhetoric at the door and go after the heart of the issues with these witnesses.

WILL SOMEONE PLEASE ASK THIS JACK-A$$ ABOUT THE EXTERNAL EMAIL SYSTEM WHILE THEY ARE UNDER OATH THIS TIME?

Sorry, it is just that it seems like a pretty obvious subject to ask about.

  9. profmarcus Says:

drag him in front of the committee and, if he doesn't sing like a canary, bring in jack bauer, and have jack use a few "enhanced interrogation techniques" until he spills the beans...

And, yes, I DO take it personally

As long as you don't call it torture, it's all good.

Thank you for your comments Rusty. We are looking seriously at that matter, and are giving it sober consideration. We have many things on our plate, as you might imagine, and are quite busy. We hope to address YOUR ISSUE HERE in due time.

We appreciate your support. It's the wind beneath our wings.

    Sincerely,

    The Honorable House Judiciary Committee

Has the crime family been correct about anything in the past six years? I don't think so, and we still allow them to make outrageous statements as if they know shiite about anything at all. It is about the oil and only the oil. The Judiciary is about stealing elections. They stacked the courts, they politicize the department of justice and they plan to make this a dictatorship with the dumbest bastard to ever darken the doors of the White House in charge. Yep, the troglodytes are too ignorant to see that they are cheering the destruction of the United States of America. Nice on, dumbasses.

  13. Karim Says:

McNulty is about to tell all.
