Speaking publicly for the first time about his time as U.S. attorney, Karl Rove-protege Tim Griffin said today that public service is “not worth it” and that “his experience as U.S. attorney had not been worth the criticism he and his wife have endured.” Griffin reportedly “became emotional several times, choking up as he detailed his political and legal career.”

Geez, if he could just convince bumscag Alberto that public service isn’t worth it, he could make a real contribution to America.
June 14th, 2007 at 4:57 pmRoboTroll 3100 reports:
See what you people have done? SEE??? Decent honest attorneys no longer want to serve their country because of liberals.
Oh, and Clinton Did It Too.â„¢
June 14th, 2007 at 4:57 pmI wonder if Griffin can hear the violin i’m playing
June 14th, 2007 at 4:58 pm…public service is “not worth it†and that “his experience as U.S. attorney had not been worth the criticism he and his wife have endured.â€
You piece of human excrement. John Conyers has YOUR LIST of Blacks, Hispanics and Native Americans being CAGED out of their VOTE. YOU MADE THE LIST you sh*tbag. You committed a felony. You spit on the face of every patriotic American and every solider who served and/or died for the Constitution.
Have fun in Federal Jail.
June 14th, 2007 at 4:59 pmBeing a criminal is a tough business, Griffin. Shouldn’t have taken it on so eagerly if you couldn’t handle it.
June 14th, 2007 at 4:59 pmOh Geees! They brought in another crier….Is this guy related to the boner or just a copy cat….See, no ball’s, no back bone just follow the order’s of heir bush and company….It’s no fun playing with winey little black hearted troll’s, either here or in this administration….Blessings

June 14th, 2007 at 5:04 pmI’m sure Army Reservist Tim Griffin (who somehow managed to serve only 4 months in Iraq when a war is on) will tear up over that time too.
June 14th, 2007 at 5:05 pmIsn’t it amazing how it’s not the thought of breaking the law and subverting the Constitution that makes these people cry…
It’s the thought that they got caught and might have to pay for their crimes….
June 14th, 2007 at 5:05 pmSuppoena this turd and when he’s had his time on TV in Mr Conyers chamber allow him to swirl and disappear into the U-bend of history….

June 14th, 2007 at 5:08 pmis there an echo in here?
June 14th, 2007 at 5:08 pmGriffin has a wife? I always thought he and Rove played each other’s flutes.
June 14th, 2007 at 5:10 pmAs someone once said, “boo frickin’ hoo”.
June 14th, 2007 at 5:13 pmMr. Griffin: (sniff sniff) “And my children! Have the democrats and liberals no shame?!? What about my children!”
Handler to Mr. Griffin: “Sir, you don’t have any children.”
Mr. Griffin: “Do I have a wife?”
Handler to Mr. Griffin: “Uh, yes sir you do.”
Mr. Griffin: (sniff sniff) “And my wife!. Have the democrats and liberals no shame?!? What about my wife!”
June 14th, 2007 at 5:14 pm“Karl Rove-protege Tim Griffin said today that public service is ‘not worth it’ ”
In other words, “not worth it” if he has to play by the rules and follow the law.
Where’s the political gain in THAT ?
June 14th, 2007 at 5:14 pmWhat does that bootlicker Tim Griffin know about public service? He thinks “public service” means raping the Justice Dep’t on the orders of a political boss.
What a pathetic crybaby.
June 14th, 2007 at 5:15 pmIt’s so hard..it’s so hard being a sleazebag corrupt lawyer these days. With Bloggers catching you at every turn. It used to be, before the internet became popular, that us corrupt sleazebags could do anything and laugh at you , the public, for how much of a sheep you were.
Now, it’s so hard..so hard…
June 14th, 2007 at 5:16 pmI think I’ll get started inventing the RUC-ExAdminCriminalWhinometer. It’ll have several infant cries and howls to choose from, as well as a button to wet its diaper.
June 14th, 2007 at 5:17 pmWill have to come with a wide selection of jail attire.
Is it too much to ask for Sharks with Lazer beams attached to their heads?

June 14th, 2007 at 5:24 pmperhaps if he was qualified to be a u.s. attorney and didn’t have to circumvent the senate, there wouldn’t have been so much criticism.
June 14th, 2007 at 5:26 pmit’s always someone else’s fault.
#2…RoboTroll 3100…Oh, and Clinton Did It Too.â„¢
You so funny! If only you COULD trademark the most popular neocon argument, they’d have to think up another one!
June 14th, 2007 at 5:35 pmIt was tough for Griffin because he is not USA material and should never have been appointed to the position of USA. If he wants to blame someone else for his own stupidity and lack of qualification he should blame Karl Rove.
All of these neocon no-good-nics are just bawling all over the place - weak sisters, every one of them.
June 14th, 2007 at 5:36 pmGriffin reportedly “became emotional several times, choking up as he detailed his political and legal career.â€
I am sure that will sit well in the minds of people he will be seeking employment with. “Hmm…we are a respected law firm that needs cool, calm and hard-nosed attorneys. Wait….he did what on camera? Um..let’s look at the next one.”
June 14th, 2007 at 5:37 pmExcuse me but Griffin was more than happy to run the caging operation to disenfranchise mostly black Democrats. And in a large measure because of this work he now complains that public service in “not worth it”. Wait a second, just who made it not worthwhile. Obviously, like Libby, he didn’t expect to get caught. Accountability is a bitch.
June 14th, 2007 at 5:38 pmWhat the fu*k is with all of these big blubbering pu$$ies? They pretend to be some big and tough and then they cry anytime somebody says boo.
Or is it because they know jail time will be in their future?
June 14th, 2007 at 5:42 pmAccording to at least one of our trolls, “public service” is worth it because you automatically deserve to walk when convicted of a felony.
Griffin needs to man up.
June 14th, 2007 at 5:51 pmJust like GWBush, Griffin is a cowardly pussy.
June 14th, 2007 at 5:56 pm“What the fu*k is with all of these big blubbering pu$$ies? They pretend to be some big and tough and then they cry anytime somebody says boo.

It’s their standard for faking sincerity. The 28percenters totally fall for it. “Oh he’s a good Christian man and you can tell he’s sorry. Leave him alone!”
June 14th, 2007 at 5:56 pmi’m real pleased to hear that tim girffin thinks that
“public service isn’t worth it.”
that will save the trouble of putting him on a quarantine list,
along with hundreds of other bush political operatives masquerading as public servants,
who should never again be allowed to serve in the executive or judicial branches of american government.
June 14th, 2007 at 5:58 pmHas anyone noticed that the Bush lover trolls are using sexual slander on the threads more often now. Does Karl Rove tell them to do this?
June 14th, 2007 at 6:00 pmObviously he didn’t get his kickback, and now he’s kicking…

June 14th, 2007 at 6:12 pmMr. Griffin, I feel the same pain for you as did you for the votes your scam suppressed.
June 14th, 2007 at 6:15 pmCRYBABY Co-conspirators, COME ON DOWN!
We’ll hand you the tissues, you just bawl your eyes out, kid.
Oh, and btw, the cell next to Scooter’s has your name on it, Tim.
June 14th, 2007 at 6:16 pm“…his experience as U.S. attorney had not been worth the criticism he and his wife have endured.â€
My experience as a US citizen has not been worth the criticism me and my fellow Americans have endured under the corrupt, self-serving Constitution-gutting hands of crybaby neocons and their Hitlerian taskmasters.
June 14th, 2007 at 6:24 pmIsn’t this why Johnny Sack was usurped by his lieutenants? He cried like a baby when the cops picked him up from his daughter’s wedding.
I’m just waiting to find out whose head gets squashed by the Ford.
June 14th, 2007 at 6:24 pmHey Timmy…I’m sending this tune out to you, Karl Rove, Mark Foley, Paster Ted, Matt Drudge, Ken Melman and Jeff Gannon.
Rock on all you Repubs out there in TP land!
Crying Game by Boy George
I know all there is to know about the crying game
I’ve had my share of the crying game
First there are kisses, then there are sighs
And then before you know where you are
You’re sayin’ goodbye
One day soon I’m gonna tell the moon about the crying game
And if he knows maybe he’ll explain
Why there are heartaches, why there are tears
And what to do to stop feeling blue
When love disappears
I know all there is to know about the crying game
I’ve had my share of the crying game
First there are kisses, then there are sighs
And then before you know where you are
You’re sayin’ goodbye
Don’t want no more of the crying game
June 14th, 2007 at 6:27 pmDon’t want no more of the crying game
Don’t want no more of the crying game
Don’t want no more of the crying game
Karl Rove-protege Tim Griffin said today that public service is “not worth it”
Way to support the troops dickhead. Want to fly over to Iraq and boohoo to them about how public service is “not worth it”? Oh, I wouldn’t mention the part where you helped take away their right to vote, they have weapons.

“IGNORE THE TROLLS CLUB.â€
Good idea, guys!!
Why not take this list you started and expand it to include the rest not listed yet, and also as Trolls change their “handle.†Then automatically (cut & paste) post it on every thread on TP about, say, every 25 posts. All of us anti troll folks can post it if we see it hasn’t been posted in a while. Especially on troll heavy threads. “Members†can add their names as they wish forswearing communication with the trolls. Repetition is the name of the game! (Put the word “Reminder†on top in bold)
What do you think folks? Shall we band together formally? If I don’t hear from anyone I will begin to post it anyway.

June 14th, 2007 at 6:30 pmWhiny little turd. Where in holy hell do they find all these egomanical, self-absorbed, thin skinned *holes? Is there something about being a Republican that particularly appeals to this type?
June 14th, 2007 at 6:32 pmTimmy can dish it out, but he can’t take it (without crying for his Mommy and binky)
Want to see just what kind of a-hole Griffin is?

Oppo Man On the Attack
The GOP’s Tim Griffin, Slamming the Democrats
By Howard Kurtz
Washington Post Staff Writer
Sunday, February 16, 2003; Page F01
If you read political news stories or watch political talk shows, chances are you’ve come across Tim Griffin’s handiwork.
He funnels facts to thousands of journalists, from Tim Russert and Sam Donaldson to the nation’s top newspaper reporters, all of which casts persons of the Democratic persuasion in the harshest possible light.
Griffin works the oppo beat for the Republican National Committee, but he’s not some shadowy operative whispering shady tips over the phone. As the man in charge of investigating the opposition, the research chief blasts his findings to the entire press corps in mass e-mailings, then sits back and watches the negative stuff spread like a computer virus. When Joe Lieberman, John Kerry, John Edwards and Howard Dean announced their presidential candidacies, Griffin and his staff flooded media in-boxes with derogatory information.

June 14th, 2007 at 6:38 pmSomebody call a wambulance.
I do like to see the words “choke” and “Griffin” in the same sentence.
June 14th, 2007 at 6:38 pmSo I see by the Arkansas article, “public service isn’t worth it” and Tim Griffin still will make his home in Little Rock AR. This is more the the workings of Fred Thompson than the unpleasant pressure of indignant voters. I’ve hired and managed enough people to know that crying publicly because hurt feelings is either manipulitive or shame from guilt. When you’ve really been wronged, you demand more investigation–not less!
June 14th, 2007 at 6:44 pmWhat a freakin’ psychopath.
We aren’t buying the lies, Tim. Lawyer up, dude, you’re gonna need it when Rove’s shop finishes unraveling.

I think they train them by making them troll here at TP for minimum wage. The trolls have whining down to a science. My favorite part is where they complain about where their minimum wage tax dollars are going. What a bunch of losers.
June 14th, 2007 at 6:53 pmIs that all those Rethuglians can do? Lie and Cry.
If they think public service isn’t worth it, the American people would love it if they’d get the heck out of public office!

I think they find them in Sunday school, where they are taught that Jesus will forgive them and save them, no matter what they do, if only they believe.
June 14th, 2007 at 7:15 pmOh boo hoo, I am so sorry I got caught. The whiny baby cry of every Bush/Cheney criminal mastermind.
June 14th, 2007 at 7:19 pmWhat is the matter with these republican babies? Griffen, Bohner, all of them tearing up. What about the thousands and thousands of young men and women who will go through the rest of their lives missing multiple limbs because these republican babies (who whine and cry about their jobs being questioned..) support this obtuse president and his worse than obtuse staff. The republican party is solely responsible for the carnage, the deaths, the maimed of this Iraq/Afghanistan war. This illicit, illegal preemptive fight that they engaged all of America into. The republican friends are getting rich. Rich off the blood of our soldiers who bear the entire burden of this tainted war. I don’t want to hear another republican whine about how tough his life is. He/she need to go visit the vet hospitals on a regular basis and get a grip and a reality check.
June 14th, 2007 at 7:29 pmPublic Service is not stealing a position and propping your feet on the desk until Dubya moves you up the ladder, bottom boy. You can’t something that never belonged to you in the first place…a fact of life.
June 14th, 2007 at 7:52 pmHey Griffin, F*** YOU pally! I have been in federal public service for over 20 years, and let me tell you something, you couldn’t hold a candle to what the public service people provide, put up with and just gernerally carry day. All the bullshit we hear in the trenches while all the time carying out the mission of our individual agencies.
June 14th, 2007 at 8:20 pmI know public servants
Public servants are my friends
Public servants are my co-workers
Public servants are my family
And you sir are NO PUBLIC SERVANT
Amen, Iggy. I’m a civil servant myself and work my ass off to help the people of this great country, NOT the Republican party and this criminal administration.
Hey Griffin, you thought it would be a cinch, you’d get some nice perks, do what they told you and never get called on it, didn’t you, you stupid prat?
June 14th, 2007 at 10:30 pmThey are running out of buses to throw people under. Maybe they can find some flooded ones in NOLA.
June 14th, 2007 at 10:52 pmIs that all those Rethuglians can do? Lie and Cry.

You’re absolutely right. This crowd (Bushies) whines and complains about how evil government is, but when they finally steal the chance to run it, they screw it up so badly because, when you get right down to it, they have no clue whatsoever what the purpose of government is supposed to be. (Hint: Serving the people who pay your salary, for one thing.) They think its purpose is to enrich your friends on the people’s dime. They really do.

Rove has a wife, too. Having a wife doesn’t necessarily preclude the possibility of “enjoying the company (and more) of men.” Just ask Jeff Gannon.
