It isn’t an “abuse”. It’s a serious criminal violation of law — a direct threat to the administration of justice. With these anti-Americans — a sobriquet they wear with pride — when the lying “PR,” the false propaganda, doesn’t work, they reveal themselves to be what they are: criminal thugs.

Them Democrats didn’t “cave”. Get the details: rather than accomplish nothing — such as the empty poilitical theater of sending the same bill over and over again, knowing it would be vetoed — they decided to get something positive accomplished. So they forced Bushit to compromise — a first in six years, and a major victory on which to build, by including domestice spending to which he was adamantly opposed. That included monies for veterans affairs. In that they demonstrated “support the troops”. The so-called “progressives” who oppose that as “caving” love to bash Bushit for not supporting the troops — and he doesn’t — but when it comes to themselves supporting the troops, they don’t.

It also includes an increase in the minimum wage.

Genuine progressives know that progress is not made all at once. Fake progressives demand the impossible; and when they don’t get it, they bash the Democrats who accomplished those concrete progressive steps, but say nothing about the foot-dragging Republicans, who prevented even greater progress.

Enacting bills that will only be vetoed is meaningless going-through-the-motions. It accomplishes nothing but that which the Republican’ts want: no progress whatsoever.

I regret you wasted your time in the USN when you apparently would have been much happier working for the Saudis or some other oppressive regime. This is AMERICA and we have watched Republicans destroy everyhitng this country stood for. Are we angry, of course! I’m sure the Navy gave you all sorts of benefits for your service, benefits now threatened by the same people you are defending. Put down the Koolaid and step away from the computer…

If the evil fu*ks that support Libby will pull mob-like actions on this judge, they might want to think twice before they place the blame in reality. The jury is “to blame” for sentencing Libby in the first place. Whether he likes it or not, the people have spoken and as in any case, he must submit to the will of the people who’ve gone over the evidence and made a judgement.

This is applicable to any case, even cases which go against the law. If the law is bad, there is a such thing as jury-nullification. The jury can throw out a law they deem inapplicable or unconstitutional or for any reason so long as the jury is united in the motion. In this case the jury upheld the existing law and this man must abide by it and serve his sentence. END OF STORY.

The only hope he has is a pardon. I wouldn’t be surprised if that happened while the press wasn’t looking.

Walton, stand your ground. The people are behind you. Don’t let the mob usurp your power to follow through the jury’s verdict.

If you don’t, you’re contributing to this countries utter destruction, which is well on its way because of corrupt people in government.

SAVE OUR COUNTRY, UPHOLD THE LAW!

These Republics really think that they are above all laws and everyone else. Their sense of entitlement is sickening.

Best wishes to Judge Walton. Live long and be healthy and a big thanks for doing the right thing, even though I think he should have frog-marched Libby out of the courtroom in handcuffs after his sentencing today.

I do feel for the judge and his family with what they are having to deal with as a result of his doing his job and standing up for the rule of law.

Harassment and threats are trademark of the caveman mentality of Bush’s faithful.

Bullies – the lot of them.

They can’t do the intellectual footwork to see an issue for what it is – so they resort to threats with puffed-out chests – baseball bats in hand. Just like Bush with his “tactical nukes.”

They realize they can’t argue the case on the facts and win so they turn their inner-bully loose to intimidate their opposition instead.
