Oh dear God. In most of those quotes at the link you posted, Clinton was being comical on purpose.

Yes, people misspeak every once in awhile. Clinton did it, Bush does it. But there is a difference between speaking the wrong word and showing your ignorance.

As for Barb’s quote, the situation was bad enough for the folks who were relocated from NO. They sure as hell didn’t need for her to specifically point out that they were underpriviledged. It was an uncaring and heartless thing for her to say. Message: “You are underpriviledged and we are glad you feel at home.”

I am not and HAVE NOT defended Snow’s comments about “well Clinton did it too”.

BTW if you want we can have a frank discussion about the use of the office of the president of the United States for illegal fund raising that went on in the Clintion administration, not to mention that big violator named Al Gore…we can.

BTW your quote about Barbara Bush just show how BS PC you are. How is she making light of their situation? She is making a factual comment and in reality she is actually complimenting those who live in Texas. I too live in Texas and yes everyone here was justifiably worried about all of the Katrina refugees comming from Louisiana and no it wasn’t your dilusional miconception and inaccurate belief that we are “afraid” of a bunch of poor black people. As you know, we handled it better than ANY other state could with far more compasion than say a state full of assholes like New York or Vermont. It’s no suprise that many have decided to say here…and you know what we have no problem with it what so ever.

These are the work of an ignorant man. These are not cute little mis-steps or simply a matter of choosing the wrong word or words to relay a thought. No, if this were the case, there would be way fewer goof-ups.

And I was a little harsh about W’s mom, Barb. Maybe instead of using the “B” word to describe her, I’ll just say she’s heartless and leave it at that.

We have far bigger problems on our hands then missing emails. Open your eyes, stop being republicans and democrats, and learn to be independent thinkers.

We are being sold down the river, the constitution is being rewritten as we speak, and the American people still can’t get over the war between Demicans, and Republicrats. Pure stupidity. You are better off trying to differentiate Pepsi and Coca-cola.

And as I said before, the Repubs in Congress likely would have gotten wind of it and strung up Clinton’s ass, but then again they were too involved in Clinton’s sexcapades. Much more salacious, that.

Dude, since this is your first and likely last visit to this site, you likely will not see this. However, in case you haven’t got a clue, the blogs such as this one offer the chance at long-distance discussion.

See, discussion about the political activities in this country are generally thought of as a good thing. Maybe you disagree, and that is your right. However, by your logic I would imagine that it’s pointless to discuss things political with our families or co-workers, or even strangers we meet in Wal-Mart. Because, you see, the discussions we have in those three environments are no different than what we have here.
