Gingrich ‘rewrites 9/11 history.’
A new advertisement by Newt Gingrich linking the threat of terrorism to the immigration debate “rewrites 9/11 history.”
“Mohamed Atta, and several other 9/11 hijackers were in the United States illegally,” Gingrich begins the ad. Photos of Atta and other 9/11 hijackers appear and the word “Illegally” — printed in bold, red letters — flashes over the screen.
“Today, more than five years since that tragic day, our borders remain open to gangs, drug dealers and terrorists,” says Gingrich in the ad.
However, according to the 9/11 Commission Report, Gingrich’s statement is incorrect.
“Atta was in the country legally on 9/11,” said Janice Kephart, a former counsel to the 9/11 Commission and co-author of the commission’s report on 9/11 and Terrorist Travel.
All of the 19 men who hijacked planes on September 11th, including Atta, entered the United States on a tourist or student visa, issued by the former U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service, according to the 9/11 Commission.

Atta’s visa was issued on May 18, 2000 and expired May 16, 2005! That would mean, yep, it was still valid at the time he flew the planes into those buildings.

These say his visa expired at the time of the attacks. He was waiting for a status change, and thus was illegal until that time. His valid status came posthumously with the mother of all goof ups by the INS.

Now how does that 60 minute fact (that 14 of the 19 are still on THIS MONTH’s NO FLY LIST) fly in the face of the “official 911 story”. It doesn’t!

As I recall, that story about people claiming they were not hijackers had a “mysterious” life-span of about 1 week. Back in 2001.
Here’s a quick timeline:

3. People with same names say “het that’s not me”
4. US releases hijacker photos
5. People with same names say “hey I told you so”
6. No serious claims that any hijackers are alive before, during or since.

“According to published reports, law enforcement sources say Hanjour, in his mid-twenties, is suspected of crashing the American Airlines Flight 77 into the Pentagon.”
“Hanjour had his pilot’s license, said Bernard, but needed what is called a ‘check-out’ done by the airport to gauge a pilot’s skills before he or she is able to rent a plane at Freeway Airport which runs parallel to Route 50. Instructors at the school told Bernard that after three times in the air, they still felt he was unable to fly solo and that Hanjour seemed disappointed.”

How was Hanjour able to board the plane if he didn’t have his name on the manifest or a ticket?
If Hanjour’s name wasn’t on the manifest and he didn’t have a ticket there can be no record whatsoever of Hanjour boarding Flight 77, so how did the FBI know he was on the plane?
Was Hanjour’s name added to the hijackers when it was realised that none of the original list of Flight 77 hijackers were pilots?

If you compare the above photographs released by the FBI you’ll see they show the same person. The problem is they don’t show Abdulaziz Al-Omari because he is still alive.

The BBC reported a transcript of a phone call made by Flight Attendant Madeline Amy Sweeney to Boston air traffic controls in which she gave the seat numbers occupied by the hijackers, and these seat numbers did NOT correspond with those of the men claimed by the FBI to be responsible for the hijacking!
CNN reported that the men who hijacked the aircraft used phony IDs containing the names of real people living in Arab nations in the middle east.
Even the FBI says there is no evidence to link the above men to the 9/11 hijackings.
So, one fact is apparent. If those who hijacked the 9/11 airplanes were using stolen identities, then we don’t know who they were or who they worked for. We can’t. It’s impossible.
Now, people who are intending to commit suicide normally don’t worry about whether anyone knows their real name, and it is here that some other odd aspects of this case take on a new meaning.
We are told that the group that planned and carried out the hijackings and subsequent attack on the World Trade Towers were highly trained (possibly by the CIA) experts, with knowledge of how to steal identities, forge fake IDs, and compromise White House and Air Force One security codes.
Yet at the same time, we are being told that these same hijackers spent the night before the attack getting drunk in bars, making noise, screaming insults at the “infidels”, and doing everything they could to attract attention to themselves. They used the credit cards issued in their stolen names, allowed their driver’s licenses with the stolen names to be photocopied, and used public library computers to send emails back and forth using their stolen names signed to unencrypted messages about their plans to steal aircraft and crash them into buildings, then decorated their apartments with absurdly obvious props such as a crop dusting manual to the point where the whole affair reads like a low budget “B” detective movie from the 1930s.
In short, these men did everything they could to make sure everyone knew who they were, or more to the point, who they were pretending to be.
Because the IDs used by the hijackers were phony, we cannot know who they really were or who they really worked for. But what is apparent is that those who planned the hijackings and the 9/11 attacks went out of their way to leave plenty of clues pointing to citizens of middle eastern Arab nations.
We don’t know who planned 9/11 attacks.
But we do know who they wanted us to think they were.
We do know who they intended America to blame for the attacks.

Seven of the nineteen “hijackers” are alive and well. They were victims of identity theft, some of whom had had their passports stolen. They were interviewed by several news organizations including the Telegraph of England. Here’s an excerpt from David Harrison’s Telegraph story entitled:

One has never been to America and another is a Saudi Airlines pilot who was on a training course in Tunisia at the time of the attacks. The story of these identity thefts was also briefly reported by ABC 69 and BBC (England) 70 The FBI does not deny this. Nobody denies this fact because it is easily verifiable. Instead, the US media and government just ignore this inconvenient little fact and keep right on repeating the monstrous lie that the hijacker identities are known and that 15 of them were Saudis.
CNN revealed that FBI director Robert Mueller openly admitted that some of the identities of the 9-11 hijackers are in question due to identity theft. Here’s what CNN reported on September 21:
FBI Director Robert Mueller has acknowledged that some of those behind last week’s terror attacks may have stolen the identification of other people, and, according to at least one security expert, it may have been “relatively easy” based on their level of sophistication. 71
This opens up a whole Pandora’s box of unanswered questions.
First and foremost of which is this: why would Osama Bin laden, the Saudi Arabian caveman, steal identities? To cover his tracks you say?
Next question: why would a Saudi Arabian, attempting to cover his tracks, steal the identities of….fellow Saudi Arabians??? What would be the point? Why go you through the trouble of stealing identities that would point back to you? Why not steal Greek identities, or Brazilian identities, or Turkish ones (or Israeli ones)? A much more logical conclusion is that non-Arabs stole these identities as part of a “false flag” operation designed to point the blame at Arabs, and Saudi Arabs in particular.
What kind of a corrupt character is FBI boss Mueller? He initially admitted that false identities were involved with 9-11, but then he allows the media to keep naming these innocent, and alive, Arabs as the hijackers? Why doesn’t he correct them? More on the slimy Mr. Mueller later on!

I think you missed my point. The changing stories and details by those supposedly in charge of all parts of the military and the government that day are detailed quite well in the book by David Ray Griffin “The 9/11 Commission Report – Omissions and Distortions”. He has done an excellent job in his research. I am just starting his latest book “Debunking 9/11 Debunking”. The only “conspiracy Theory” in place is the one (official story) put out by our government. I don’t pretend to know the scope or all the people involved, but I know enough of the pieces that there is not a shred of doubt in my mind. It took a long time for me to get over the shock of it. Now given all the other stuff that has been allowed to happen since that day, it makes a lot of sense. None of what has happen to change our country could ever have been allowed to happen without the events of that day being allowed to happen (or being planned to happen).

She had planned to take a different flight, but she changed it at the last minute so that she could be with her husband on his birthday. For one thing, there has never been an investigation (a REAL, independently conducted investigation) of the biggest crime perpetrated against this nation in all its history. Why is that? It has been frustrated and manipulated at every turn. Again, why is that?
As long as there is any doubt or question about MANY things that took place leading up to 9/11, on 9/11 and following 9/11, if everything happened lke they said then it shouldn’t threaten anyone to investigate it properly and put all these doubts and descrepancies to rest.
There was a poll taken in NY City after 9/11 and I believe it was something like 65% of those polled believed that it didn’t happen like the government said it did. I would be curious to see what a poll of the entire United States would look like..
I just want a real investigation by independent panels that are not political or in some way connected to corporations or this Administration.
The truth may take its time coming out, but it will eventually. A lot has already been made known. We just need to keep digging.

This statement is not entirely correct. They entered on tourist or student visa but MANY HAD THEIR TOURIST OR STUDENT VISA EXPIRED, therefore making them illegally in this country!

It doesn’t deal completely with border security(actually very little), it is talking about amnesty. These terrorist were here illegally, and they would have become legal under this new bill. It is as simple as that. It has little to do with what you said. Learn about what he is actually talking about before you post stuff like that, since it is just wrong.

Newt’s comments were grossly taken out of context here and his intention misrepresented! I am NO NEWT FAN, but I do respect the truth. The truth shows that “some” of the attackers were illegal and should not have been here.
It is true that NONE of the 19 attempted to cross our borders via a land passage. However, to say that all 19 of them followed immigration law and were here LEGALLY is an absolute false statement!!!
The current McCain-Kennedy immigration plan does nothing to stop futher crossings, does nothing to stop the flood of illegal immegrants and I believe to be bad for this country! Given the fact that “the AVERAGE immigrant without a high school education imposes a net fiscal burden on public coffers of $89,000 during the course of his or her lifetime”, I am not for any plan that allows amnesty!
