Last night on CNN Headline News, host Glenn Beck and former GOP consultant and radio host Michael Graham discussed a new video of President Bill Clinton and Sen. Hillary Clinton (D-NY) spoofing the final episode of the Sopranos.
During the conversation, Graham asked Beck if he wanted to see the Clintons murdered in the video. “[S]eriously, Glenn, didn’t you at one point want to see, like, Paulie Walnuts or someone come in and just whack them both right there. Wouldn’t that have been great?” Beck responded with a smile, “No, I did not want to see that.” Graham said, “C’mon. … I wanted that.”
Watch it:
Though Beck said he didn’t want to see the Clintons murdered on video, he smiled at the comments and failed to reprimand his guest or end the interview. Moreover, Michael Graham has a history of offensive remarks. In 2005, he was fired from Washington radio station WMAL-AM after he labeled Islam “a terrorist organization” on the air.
Previously, Beck has called Hillary Clinton “the stereotypical bitch” and said her “stereotypical, nagging” voice is “like an icepick” in my ear.
UPDATE: CNN has not yet posted the transcript of last night’s segment.
(HT: My Two Sense)
Transcript:
BECK: I gotta tell you Michael, first of all, I don’t know if I would have cast Bill as Tony Soprano — a guy who’s a serial cheater. The second part is, I worried that we’ve made politics now just about entertainment. I mean, why don’t we just elect Kenny Chesney and get it all over with?
GRAHAM: I’m thinking Hillary Clinton sitting there as the Carmella — you know — of this thing.
BECK: That’s so true.
GRAHAM: With her — her large, overweight, powerful husband — and she’s using his power to get what she wants. At some point — but seriously, Glenn, didn’t you at one point want to see, like, Paulie Walnuts or someone come in and just whack them both right there. Wouldn’t that have been great?
BECK: No, I did not want to see that.
GRAHAM: C’mon. Where’s Big Pussy? C’mon, let’s make it happen.
BECK: No, I did not want to see that.
GRAHAM: I wanted that.

what a couple of racist losers
June 21st, 2007 at 2:56 pmNo surprises here.
After all, threatening judges from the Supreme Court on down is now business as usual for the American conservative movement.
June 21st, 2007 at 2:57 pmOh, those rascally liberals at CNN!
June 21st, 2007 at 2:58 pmOkay, so it was tacky.
But in this instance, the Clintons were play-acting in a parallel to a gangster show, weren’t they?
So this was just going along with a gag they started.
June 21st, 2007 at 2:59 pmA number of left-wing posters here who hate the Clintons will probably agree with these two losers.
June 21st, 2007 at 2:59 pmLike i asked on my blog, will the secret service get involved? after all, Bill is a former president and Hillary is a candidate.. they both have secret service protection.
June 21st, 2007 at 3:00 pmI’m as liberal/progressive as the day is long, and based on what I have read I have never listened to or watched this guy, but I do have to agree with the “nagging voice is like an icepick in my ear” assessment.
June 21st, 2007 at 3:01 pmI agree with #4, in that we should take the comments in the context in which they were made - a f’ing parody of the Sopranos. Nothing to get worked up about.
Why not focus our energy on the fact that the Dems in Congress lack the balls to bring the fight to the Presidunce and his fellow felons!!!
June 21st, 2007 at 3:04 pmjust john @ 4: right. The Clintons made the video of themselves in the gangster roles, in which many (most?) people think that Tony did, in fact, get whacked. So how is it in any way wrong to continue the Clinton’s own joke to an obvious, logical, conclusion?
June 21st, 2007 at 3:04 pmdid you say an ice pick up your rear ?
June 21st, 2007 at 3:05 pmOK, so they are both idiots., this is news?
And yes, i believe Islam is a terrorist religion. Rushdie was Knighted and they are talking about suicide bombers, yet they dont want to be thought of as thugs and terrorists?
Quite frankly I think it would be hysterically funny, to get a group together, adn start burning effigies of muslim clerics, and burning flags of all the countries who have been burning American flags!
June 21st, 2007 at 3:07 pmUmm, isn’t advocating the murder of a former president cause for the Secret Service to intercede?
June 21st, 2007 at 3:08 pmThe airwaves are full of this type of thing. I remember Air America doing a spoof of (I think) Cheney getting shot, so I will just file this under the ‘Business as Usual’ file; too much airtime for too many people with too much time on their hands. Both sides are guilty.
June 21st, 2007 at 3:08 pmSounds like a threat to me, even if they were just being the idiots they are. An investigation would be in order, it seems.
June 21st, 2007 at 3:08 pmLike i asked on my blog, will the secret service get involved? after all, Bill is a former president and Hillary is a candidate.. they both have secret service protection.
I’d be willing to bet it that was a liberal talk show and they said the same thing about Bush, the Secret Service would be on it in a hot minute. They would also probably sick Homeland Insecurity on them. Remember, this is the country where people get kicked off of airplanes for wearing an anti-bush t-shirt.
June 21st, 2007 at 3:09 pmQuite frankly I think it would be hysterically funny, to get a group together, adn start burning effigies of muslim clerics, and burning flags of all the countries who have been burning American flags!
Comment by Douglas G.
You have become what you hate.
Nice one!
June 21st, 2007 at 3:09 pmHillary does have a horrid speaking voice as we all know. Beck pointing that out isn’t news, its just obvious. It would be hard to find someone with a more shrill voice then Mrs. Bill Clinton.
June 21st, 2007 at 3:11 pmThe funniest thing for me is listening to Glenn Beck insist that he didn’t want to see the proposed whacking in question. I have a feeling that he may have sensed that agreeing with his guest just might be a bit too dangerous for his career — post-Imus anyway.
June 21st, 2007 at 3:11 pm“The airwaves are full of this type of thing. I remember Air America doing a spoof of (I think) Cheney getting shot..”
Well, you think wrong. That never happened on Air America. The threats all seem to come from the right. You know, threatening assassination, poisoning a Supreme Court justice, stuff like that. But, the right can get away with it. The left can’t even get away with wearing an anti-Bush t-shirt or having an anti-Bush bumper sticker on their car.
June 21st, 2007 at 3:12 pmThis is soooooo typical of the conservatice mindset: murdering people. You don’t have to look very far to know this: the U.S. occupation in Iraq. But if a liberal said something like that, well, the whole wall will fall down on him or her. Again, this is sooooo typical. Don’t be surprise.
June 21st, 2007 at 3:12 pmGlenda is going to get a raw spanking when he gets home……. daddy’s bad boy has been a bad boy
June 21st, 2007 at 3:13 pmOkay time to play “Gues the Troll”.
Is “Doulas G.” one of our long-established thinking-impaired trolls (Patrick1, perhaps), or is he a new arrival who’s found his way here courtesy of the Drudge-talk radio connection?
June 21st, 2007 at 3:13 pm“It would be hard to find someone with a more shrill voice then Mrs. Bill Clinton.”
Assistant Attorney General Bradley Schlozman comes to mind.
June 21st, 2007 at 3:13 pm“It would be hard to find someone with a more shrill voice then Mrs. Bill Clinton.â€
Oh god Fran Dreschier with out a doubt has a far more annoying voice then Hillary.
June 21st, 2007 at 3:16 pmso it’s the lefty blogosphere that’s full of anger and hate, is it?
June 21st, 2007 at 3:18 pmI would love to see someone run an icepick through Beck’s ear. No danger of brain damage unless they did stick it in his rear. I would settle to see it run through his tongue, as long as it is left there.
June 21st, 2007 at 3:19 pmRamboTroll comments:
I have a simple-minded belief that everything is ______ist. Why must that be _____ist?
“An investigation’s in order, it seems.”
No, stop laughing at yourself. They must be touching a hot political nerve there, flunky. You’ll get over it, we hope.
June 21st, 2007 at 3:20 pmIt’s strange. The neo-con trolls claim CNN is liberal, but it provides a soapbox for Beck & Graham.
And then we are asked to take death threats and other intimidating comments from these clowns as mere crowd-pleasing jokes or pranks. But if Ahmadinejad makes a crowd-pleasing comment about Israeli –ooooh, watch out! That’s an legitimate reason to bomb an entire nation.
Seems to me the Right Wing Talking Heads should roll. It’s a case of the Golden Rule: If they expect to take everyone’s word literally, so should theirs be and I say throw them in the slammer for uttering death threats and encouraging a felony.
June 21st, 2007 at 3:20 pmBut does that really make Glenn Beck worse than Hitler? I mean really!
June 21st, 2007 at 3:20 pmI have to admit, I would like to see Al Gore strangle Bill while yelling “You blew my fucking election because you couldn’t keep it in your pants, you irresponsible bastard!”
June 21st, 2007 at 3:21 pmAnd why does anyone even care about this? glen beck has the lowest ratings on cable and dropping fast.
Anyone still listening to him wouldn’t be smart enough to figger owt what was happinin’ ennywey.
June 21st, 2007 at 3:21 pmClinton goofed early in his first term when some Southern Congressman said in a widely-reported radio interview that “he better have lots of guards when he comes down here because he’s not popular.” The threat was very clear. Clinton should have reprimanded the man instantly and said crisply, “You don’t have to respect me, but you must respect the Presidency.” Instead, he let it slide with a “no comment” or some other weak response, and this was just one of many ways in which he weakened himself.
June 21st, 2007 at 3:23 pmhard to get past their looks to consider what they’re saying. they are so ugly.
they look like pigs.

But DAMN!! Can they f#ck up the constitution and kill hundreds of thousands of people while making a fortune doing it. Guess that is the free masrket at work.
June 21st, 2007 at 3:32 pmThe world is watching the new United States with it’s family values and religious morals. Let’s teach our kids that if your not Republican it’s ok to kill someone. Look how far we have gone from the one most respected country in the world and each day we sink lower. Some unemployed depressed nut will likely to think that’s a great idea. Remember Chavez said he if was killed you’d know who did it. Now all Karl Rove has to do is have the idiots start a campaign on killing the popular candidates then move on to the rest of the Democratic elected officials then we will have completed the 6 year plan of one party. Americans think all this is funny until people start doing the killing. We can thank our Bush Administration for using religion and doing Satan’s work. God can’t bless America as this country is following Satan’s orders. Bush has successfully completed the dumbing down of Americans.
June 21st, 2007 at 3:32 pmAnd yes, i believe Islam is a terrorist religion. Rushdie was Knighted and they are talking about suicide bombers, yet they dont want to be thought of as thugs and terrorists?

if islam is a terrorist religion then I guess so is Christianity. Lets not forget who brought us such great moments in Mankinds history such as the crusades, the spanish inquisitions, pedophile priests and a condonment of the holocaust.
I was brought up that we DON’T burn other peoples flags, torture, break laws, ignore the Geneva convention, and start “pre-emptive” wars, because we are Americans and as such we always take the higher moral road. That was the America my grandfather fought for in WWII, and he is sickened by what he sees today. So am I.
June 21st, 2007 at 3:33 pmTwo idiots on TV saying something stupid.
June 21st, 2007 at 3:33 pmThis is news?
WOW I bet these 2 get all the chicks.
Today I saw a bumper sticker which read Execute War Protestors, how ironic. It’s no wonder the Republican party is quickly on it’s way to extinction.

June 21st, 2007 at 3:48 pm#22 actually I have been here for months, at least 6 or 7. I dont use any other handles, my name really is Douglas, my last initial G. I am not a republican, nor a democrat, I am more of a constitutionalist, probably leaning towards libertarian. I don’t approve of Abortion, but also believe it’s not MY decision to make, so my disapproval means nothing. It should be a state issue, not a federal issue.
As for burning effigies, and flags, I was being facetious. Sorry the effort was wasted, though I really think what would happen is most americans would laugh at the joke, and all muslims would burst into flames at their own tactics being used as a joke. Again proof that they are an unstable lot.
June 21st, 2007 at 3:48 pm“It would be hard to find someone with a more shrill voice then Mrs. Bill Clinton.â€

June 21st, 2007 at 3:55 pmI admit I haven’t seen the parody video yet, so I concede it’s possible Michael Graham was just continuing “the joke” — sick as it is.
What it really reminded me of when I first read this — Howard Beale getting whacked for ratings. Life imitating art?
June 21st, 2007 at 3:56 pmSeriously, isn’t it a federal crime to threaten the president or former president or do you actually have to try before the Secret Service gets involved?

June 21st, 2007 at 4:15 pmI could paste all the posts from TP posters defending Bill Maher joking about assassinating Cheney and now that the tables are turned……whining……the common reflex when libs get torched. All talk radio is owned by conservatives…..whaaaaaaa………….Glen Beck didn’t reprimand his guest…….whaaaaaaa…….they called liberal bloggers names…….whaaaaaa……No wonder libs have no radio success…..it drives people nuts with the whinining……….Bush is the reason for our troubles……..whaaaaa……. Everyone is glad you’re relegated to this small outpost on the Internet for conspiracists.
Since no one else stepped, I will. I think the reference to an Air America skit about shooting Cheney might be referring to a skit on the Randi Rhodes Show in 2005 when a skit on Social Security ended with Bush shooting elderly people who were opposing his plan to overhaul SS. Randi spent almost an entire program (3 hours) the next day apologizing and reprimending the staff who had written and performed the skit.
So to compare that incident with Glenn Beck and Michael Graham discussing the ‘whacking’ of Bill and Hillary Clinton is to push a false equivalency.
I, too, would say ‘take it in context and don’t get so overwrought about it’ and also (as my mother taught me) ‘consider the source and overlook it.’ But Glenn Beck and Michael Graham are part of the apparatus that is working to destroy democracy in America so I would hardly mind if someone were to bring that piece of videotape to the attention of, you know, the Secret Service.

Neither of these clowns could be called a comedian. If they were making jokes, they ought to do it on their own time.
Then, again, rednecks and neo-cons don’t have senses of humour. Why? Because a sense of humour requires the ability to see a paradox, an oxymoron, two contrary thoughts as true at the same time, irony, and a double meaning. Sorry, but rednecks & neo-cons have dull, singular minds that have no imaginations and take everything literally. That’s why rednecks & neo-cons make lousy scientists, derivitive artists, doggerel poets, and hack novelists.
June 21st, 2007 at 4:35 pmYeah, CNN is trying to figure how to edit the transcript without showing evidence that they did so.
June 21st, 2007 at 4:44 pmBeck is a loser for them, and his guests are incredibly hate-filled.
CNN needs to pull the plug on Beck and his ugly, ugly guests.
“the Crusades was a reaction the Islamic Jihad of the 7th Century and the Turkish invasion of the REast Roman Empire.”
Now hold on there. Are you suggesting that people don’t like it when foreign powers wage war on them and invade their countries? And that they invoke religious justifications for attacking those foreign powers, when they represent a different religion?
Why, that’s crazy talk!
June 21st, 2007 at 4:45 pmDidn’t the secret service visit a young girl in her schoolroom yet, when she made a parody video about bush…Whether Bill and Hillary Clinton had made a soprano spoof or not, if some one says they should kill an ex-president and a presidential candidate then the secret service should do more than come knocking at this butthole’s door, Beck program and CNN for allowing it.
It is a shame that a bunch of outraged citizens don’t get together and sue the pants off all three. After all if a judge can sue for 95 million dollars because a dry cleaners lost his pants, what do you think outraged democrats could get from people who advocate a death threat.
Lets all send emails to CNN telling them we are getting a group together to sue , sue,,,sue…..
June 21st, 2007 at 4:46 pmMovies have been made about killing liberals: JFK, Bobby, Lincoln, MLK. I think you’re not willing to take the speculation and its implications seriously. That’s what makes the difference between a Yahoo like Beck and Don Delillo.
Perhaps you’d better take a break and check out Sondheim’s musical ASSASSINS. It’s actually pretty good. And is funny, tragic, sad, and inspiring.
June 21st, 2007 at 4:47 pmjoe,
June 21st, 2007 at 4:49 pmI’m for pulling out of Iraq so the Muslims kill each other!
I’m for alternative energy so they go broke starve and die off in the desert!
Marge, I was thinking of that 12 year old girl. Indeed, others have been grossly humiliated and confined for brief periods for making symbolic statements. But famous idiots such as Beck or Pat Robertson seem to be able to express genuine desires to see people whacked without causing the slightest interest at the FBI.
June 21st, 2007 at 4:53 pmIt is my feeling that in its totality the referenced comments were related to the Clintons use of theatrics by their spoof from a scene found in a Pro Gangster TV Show. In a way it might be possible that the Clintons violated one of many Digital Millennium laws? I would imagine that they secured permission. Thank goodness the 1st Amendment allows us to talk openly about fictional work like that of the Clintons.
I found myself imagining that Bill was having one of his fellatio sessions with Monica Lewinski and then Hillary walked in. After making eye contact Hillary and Monica started touching each other with Bill’s approval. The air was thick with sex and Bill ejaculated on Monica’s dress. She decided to preserve that ejaculate as a memento of their fellatio session. Who would have guessed that that same ejaculate would be the demise of Bill’s sexual romp through the WH. Then I realized that that threesome was just part of an old porno.
Now I can hold all of the facts in context with various episodes of Star Trek while remembering that Hillary has Bills back! Hillary wants “global government†and I’m sorry to inform you that this is counter to the US Constitution! I need to point out that a campaign song is hardly a campaign promise is hardly a Constitutional awareness. It is true that their spoof would have been more fun if there was a big gun fight!
June 21st, 2007 at 4:53 pmI’m confused by this Troll named The Joker. He makes no sense. But I just read an essay that said the Republicans are in a panic because liberalism is on the rise in America, the Democrats may take House, Senate and the Presidency next year, and the word “liberal” is no longer considered a pejorative while “neo-con” is.
This may explain why The Joker isn’t trying to engage the thread with any reasoned argument but is merely disruptive, repetitive and silly. It’s the usual troll, but in a defeated frame of mind. A GOP op in hysterical despair. A neo-con loser grasping at strawmen.

What is it that I said that would cause you to believe that when a Presidential Candidate uses a Sopranos episode as a model for her campaign that my pointing that out constitutes troll-ism? The actual implication is that if she is elected we the voters might expect her Presidency to be along the lines of “Fun With Dick & Jane†or “Wag The Dogâ€

June 21st, 2007 at 5:40 pmI wonder who here remembers when Presidential Candidates presented us with campaign promises during TV spots? For that matter who remembers when Presidential Candidates simply threw mud at their opponents? Now we get to find out the Campaign song and learn that the Clinton’s relate to the voters since they like the Sopranos too. Don’t forget that Bill’s kid almost smacked up the car but that is way cooler than the Bush girls fall down wasted on the floor.
This is all BS and the sooner we realize it the better. We need a Presidential Candidate with a platform not trendy theatrics like this.
June 21st, 2007 at 5:49 pmThe Right are degenerates.
June 21st, 2007 at 5:50 pmWow, that is an offensive comment. What do “babies†have to do with this? They could not help being born so how dare you reference them!

Could you try to stop making stupid, moronic and idiotic posts?
June 21st, 2007 at 6:09 pmHey, you two…play nice, or I will turn this thread around right now!
I meanit! Don’t make me come back there!
June 21st, 2007 at 6:17 pmRegarding the original topic at the start of this thread:
Better would be seeing these two chuckleheads getting whacked.

You first — baby.
June 21st, 2007 at 6:49 pmWhat would be better is if in the middle of the add Janet Reno punched a hole in the side of the diner and shot tear gas in and burned everyone to death! It would be much more exciting and have added historical value.
Even better Monica could be one of Bill’s whores and he could be beating her down for holding out on him then their kid could come in smoking some pot and Bill could say something like, “Just be sure you don’t inhale that Chelsea, you will never know if they will ask you that in public!”
June 21st, 2007 at 6:50 pmThis is weird. Why is Glenn Beck in the headline and not Michael Graham? Beck DID admonish Graham, though in a friendly way. It’s Graham who suggested the Clintons be whacked. But then, Graham wasn’t the host so he’s not as fun to go up against.
June 21st, 2007 at 6:55 pmHyuk, hyuk . . . betcha wud, Wally. And y’all cud wear brownshirts. The scary, scary thing is, there are enough losers out there that you probably cud get a group together.
June 21st, 2007 at 7:12 pmYou first — baby.

No thanks I don’t set my watch by anything you say or do here. It would be much different if you were intellectually stimulating or capable of rudimentary conversation but people who use colloquialisms like “baby†are often sexist and sexually frustrated. Odds are your some sort of hideous beast thing that crawled out of some inbreeding cavern with just 30 chromosomes.

1. graham was beck’s invited guest.
2. it could have been edited out, beck’s show is not live.
3. beck did not admonish graham as strongly as he should have.
June 21st, 2007 at 7:13 pmAnd he would have had to do this editing out because of why? What law did he break for starters? Was he racial at all in his comments?
June 21st, 2007 at 7:18 pm“freedomrings” - the hate that is spewed across the media these days has evolved into the kind of vulgarity you get on a regular basis on that awful Glen Beck’s show. To leave that bit in was a blatant attempt to boost his sagging ratings by waving red meat in front of all of the people who fixate on the Clintons.
That weirdo thinks that watching the Clintons get killed would be “great”. Do you agree with him?
June 21st, 2007 at 8:11 pmWow, who whudda guessed that CNN is a f*cked up, facist, corp dick s*cking, useless voice in my America!!
I’m shocked, I tell ya I shocked!!!
June 21st, 2007 at 8:56 pmso you can joke about, make a movie about Killing Bush and thats ok but you cant talk about killing liberals
June 21st, 2007 at 9:50 pmI applaud him for not saying yes, but that probably would have gotten him fired (Pity).
But he laughed, so that ruins it. You can joke about a lot of things… like people’s weight or voices when you have no other actual argument… but when you go so far as to suggest death? You’re an asshole.
June 21st, 2007 at 10:21 pmAt least he didn’t call her a Nappy Headed Ho. Then, and only then would he have been fired…
June 21st, 2007 at 10:39 pmMovies have been made about killing liberals: JFK, Bobby, Lincoln, MLK. I think you’re not willing to take the speculation and its implications seriously. That’s what makes the difference between a Yahoo like Beck and Don Delillo.
Neither did the bloodthirsty liberals, I guess, when they cheer at George Bush’s assassination.
June 21st, 2007 at 11:44 pmThere is. At least a TV show. Its called 24.
In it, they paint liberals as traitors, cowards and criminals.
The same ‘24′ where the Palmer brothers were Democrats? And are you comparing shooting a fictional President to a real one?
I guess I didn’t realize your stupidity.
June 21st, 2007 at 11:45 pmThat weirdo thinks that watching the Clintons get killed would be “greatâ€. Do you agree with him?
Comment by margaret — June 21, 2007 @ 8:11 pm
In the context of that rip off of the gangster show… Hell yea, blood & guts all over. Bill could have returned fire and then been gunned down like Sunny in The Godfather. In the end Hillary could press the Nuke Iran button like Charlton Heston in Beneath the Planet of the Apes.
June 22nd, 2007 at 12:20 am“Comment by Zooey”
My apologies for this off topic post but i just have to ask…
Zooey is that your real name? A very dear long lost friend of mine named her son Zooey.
June 22nd, 2007 at 12:48 amRemember when the left wasn’t a bunch of hypersensitive babies to silly comments? I think you need to go back to letting fake outrage over comments said in jest stay on the right side of the field.
June 22nd, 2007 at 1:56 amTo paraphrase Jerri Blank of Strangers with Candy,
“Assasination? That’s hi-LAR-ious!!!”
What do you expect? Rush Limbaugh thinks interning people without due process of law and utilization of possible torture as interregation methods is funny stuff. Even sells t-shirts to that effect. These people have messed-up senses of humor.
June 22nd, 2007 at 9:46 amI’m trying to figure out why anyone pays any attention to either one of these cro-magnons.Amazing thing about electronics is that they invariably have on/off switches. Please start using them.Put another way, ignore them and they’ll go away.
June 22nd, 2007 at 11:05 amLet’s take the “Joker”’s moniker seriously…it’s gotta be parody.
June 22nd, 2007 at 11:37 amYou forget where CNN is located; Atlanta, GA… The heart of the south, right in the middle of the festering RED block of states… Of course they are going to have a red slant, too bad the rest of the media doesn’t have that excuse….
June 22nd, 2007 at 12:44 pmLet’s forget for a moment the complete immoral lunacy of the statement.
Doesn’t CNN realize how bad this is for the country?
Certainly, America has had and still has its hateful element.
But do CNN and others have to give the hatefulness legitimacy by hiring hate-mongers, who will naturally have on psychotics like the Graham guy.
It has to be about ratings, which is even more terrifying, that that many Americans want this kind of crap on their TeeVee news programs.
Do any of us want to even live in the same country with these people?
Sometimes I don’t think that Lincoln did us such a favor by holding the union together?
June 22nd, 2007 at 12:57 pmWhile I don’t agree with the sentiment that it’d be great to see them murdered, even in a spoof, I think Hillary is a terrible candidate for the Presidency. She will be unable to “reunite the country” because, as far as I’m concerned, she’s as divisive as Bush is; you either love her or hate her. I certainly wish we had other options, but at this point I don’t see a candidate other than Obama that truly has the moral fortitude and integrity to carry through on their promises.
Well, perhaps some of the GOP candidates, but that will just make things worse, with the exception of Ron Paul…
June 22nd, 2007 at 1:06 pmThe Clintons set themselves up for this. They knew it when they filmed the video, neither one of them are stupid. Maybe, rather than trying to tie themselves into pop culture to gain votes for Hillary, Hillary should consider dumping that cheating husband of hers. That’s about the only thing I can think of that might gain her my vote. I’m voting for Obama when primary time rolls around.
By the way, Glenn Beck is mormon. He doesn’t watch rated R movies, so what makes you think that he would actually want to watch the Clintons get murdered? He can’t even handle the fiction.
June 22nd, 2007 at 1:16 pmYou’ve got to be kidding me! There are actually people that take this as a serious threat? (It’s an obvious joke here!) Get a freakin’ life already. I guess when people have a certain agenda to fulfill, they’ll always go way out of context to make a baseless point. Oh, and why do people automatically label Glen Beck, and essentially any other person with a conservative point of view as a racist? Give me one example (within full context) of Beck actually being truly racist.
June 22nd, 2007 at 1:52 pmThere was no threat, they were talking about a SKIT - any imagined “whacking” would have been in the context of a skit as well. Seriously people, there is plenty out there that warrants general concern and you dwell on this bs? Get a brain morans.
June 22nd, 2007 at 2:08 pmgeneral concern = legitimate concern
June 22nd, 2007 at 2:10 pmoops
Ooooooh, LET’S send Glenn Beck and Michael Graham some N-I-C-E creme brulee, shall we….?
(And don’t forget the rat poison, Ann!)
June 22nd, 2007 at 3:19 pmI heard Glenn Beck on one of his show’s say that he’s not a journalist, he’s an entertainer; so everything he says is his opinion and it doesn’t even have give correct information. In otherwords, he thinks he can say whatever he wants, put it out there to the American people as fact, even when it isn’t.
But his show IS presented on CNN as News Talk and leads the viewer to believe it is fact and not just Beck’s very often racist, sexist opinion with made up facts. Shame on CNN for allowing this type of show on their airwaves. No wonder people believe all the lies and propaganda out there.
June 23rd, 2007 at 1:19 pmDon’t just complain to CNN about Glen Beck. Watch his show one night and write down all of his sponsors and contact them. If enough people complain to the sponsors and they pull their ads… maybe it will lead to Beck getting off the air and replaced by a real News Show. Remember it’s all about the money to companies like CNN.
June 23rd, 2007 at 1:22 pmI am so proud that Graham is from my neck of the woods.
June 23rd, 2007 at 1:45 pmWe need to all contact CNN and Glenn Beck’s producers now! It is wacko’s like Glenn who get a paycheck for masquerading as a journalist, who are inciting divisive dangerous hate in this country! We all need to stand up, demand that our media changes back to news, not hateful opinion pieces all day! Demand that he be fired! Contact the advertisers! While we’re at it, boycott everything Fox, TV movies, everything! Enough divisive damage has been done to our beautiful country!
June 23rd, 2007 at 5:19 pmhttp://www.cnn.com/feedback/forms/form5.html?69
somebody is still watching phlegm speck?
must be sickening, sorry for your pain.
June 24th, 2007 at 12:25 amI stopped watching Beck after the first two times I viewed his program. His conspiracy theories and talk about he knows something is about to happen just made me sick to my stomach. The man’s paranoid. You can’t take anything Beck or most of his guests say seriously. Talk about loving to watch the Clintons murdered is about as offensive as Imus’s remarks and maybe worse. Beck needs meds.
June 24th, 2007 at 5:53 pmBeck Who?
Does anyone with an IQ over 4 even watch cable news nowadays?
It certainly isn’t “news” and is even worse when
June 28th, 2007 at 5:47 pmwatched as comedy theater. A gurgling sewer
of slim and sludge. Fit only for rats to wallow in.
Is this the same Glenn Beck I use to listen to on the radio in the morning on KC101 FM in CT?
He cut his hair if it is, and definilty looks better.
