Oh my god, you’re doing more than most of us will ever do, JG. I admire you so much! You’re probably thinking, “Well it’s just what I have to do.” And it is, but so many people don’t.

My son and I had a great time on my visit to Portland. We ran around on the train and went to the Saturday Market and Powells Books.

Why does this seem so special to me? My son has autism. He’s got a job and his own place, and it’s such an achievement for him. Just a year ago, I thought he’d live with me for the rest of his life!
