Then the next step is to organize. We need motivated people like you to help wake up the sleeping masses. Contact a local political party (doesn’t have to be the Dems although they may have a better ‘machine’ in place for it) and see if they can help you with the next steps. Get the local media involved in what you do so that the message reaches more people.

But whatever you do, DON’T LOSE HOPE! Good luck, and let us know how it goes.

Dixie, I won’t take your bait of a poking insult. If you have read my posts over the last month you would know that I am probably as anti Hillary as you get. I ranted long and hard about the damage that Bill and the DLC have done over the years that they have assumed the voice of the Democratic Party. Since 1985 they moved the party way right of center and Hillary supports that position today. I am as far out a Progressive as you will find. You will not find triangulation or equivocation in my posts. I sport a bumper sticker that says “First Things First! Impeach Cheney.” It has been on there so long it is in need of replacement.

Secondly, I seek reason within our Progressive Party. There is no reasoning with neocons. I want action NOW, and are as angry as you are. However, I realize that I have to temper that feeling to face reality. We don’t have the votes yet to accomplish our goals, and so the best course is to realize that, and keep as much pressure on these neofascists as possible Waxman realizes that and is doing an impressive of bringing the sh*t to light.

Basically, this process has been in effect throughout the history of the Christian relgion, and its relationship to all western empires since that time.

Yes it has! And it was the Devine Right of Kings that the brilliant and brave founders of our Republic sought to change. In its place came the rule by reason, in a land of laws, governed by the consent of an informed citizenry. And it is this Republic that is, and has been, so severly tested and threatened since 1980.

Never in the history of mankind has so much destructive capacity fallen into the hands of a dedicated group of dictatorial empire builders whose course is world domination…er destruction.

Republicans did not do this. Neocons acting like Republicans within the Republican Party did this. Like a cancer, the neocon ideology took hold in the early 60s right after Goldwater and metastisized throughout the whole of the Republican “body.” Cheney and Rumsfeld were its handmaidens in Nixon’s day and bloomed under the neocon puppet RayGun, with poppy Bush pulling the (CIA) strings. The corrupt and convicted neocons were pardoned by 41, and Clinton to his great shame, buried the whole stinking mess. The flower came to full bloom in 2000, with the Religious foot soldiers in place, the most powerful military in the world and the philosophers running the show from the AEI and other right wing stink tanks. Unfortunately for them, Bush is no RayGun in the eyes of the people. They should have picked another “beloved” actor.

And never before in the history of man has such a small group of monied corporations (who have the right to be judged as people by law) been so firmly in control. Yet their power is illusory as it depends on a carefully controlled structure. That of strict loyalty and total secrecy.

If the people understand what is going on they have the power to stop it. At great cost, I hasten to add, but then that is the reality. When you want to rid yourself of cancer, and this cancer has reached the 4th stage, you might have to lose your hair and throw up a lot.

Your’re not “progressive” enough for me. I don’t need excuses and politeness now. I need people who are willing to stand up to ALL of the useless sh!t perpetrated on the people of this country by both useless parties!!!
