Rocky Anderson, the mayor of Salt Lake City.
He stated he has known Mitt Romney for a long time, and is dismayed at Romney’s about face with regards to torture policy, abortion, and the Iraq war.
Anderson repeatedly made the statement that
Romney has “caved in to his handlers.”
He (Rocky Anderson) seemed dismayed that anyone, in particular a presidential candidate, could espouse the views Romney is now cuddling up to.

When his deferments ended and he became eligible for military service in 1970, he drew a high number in the annual lottery that determined which young men were drafted. They presented Bush with a letter from themselves and in it they beseeched him to stop torture and illegal detention of captives, because they don’t want their country to be kow for torture and violations of the Geneva convention.

I don’t know why anyone would take Romney seriously when he’s a member of one of the most obsurd religions of all time. Does he actually think that Jesus lived in Missouri? And what about Black people were banned from ministry up until the 1970s?
