    I will have to agree with you guys on this issue. Paris’ release should not be considered as relevant news. But I do believe that her post interview is important for other young people who are currently living a troubled life.

    When so-called celebrities can dominate the news it is no wonder that we have such voter apathy. And people don’t hear the issues nor understand issues. And what little news that is heard is given in 9 second blurts because “we” have the attention span of a knat according to marketing gurus. Bad enough that those 9 seconds of news are filtererd as well.

    Our myopic and pathetic thirst for the next titilating tidbit of trash…well, garbage in, garbage out. Karl Rove understood this about Americans and used it well to get Bush into office.

What TP is noting is that a major “news” source is treating her release as “news” instead of something actually “newsworthy.” Second, TP gets to post what TP wants to post.
