House oversight chairman Henry Waxman (D-CA) has revealed new evidence “that both the White House and the Office of the Vice President have flaunted multiple requirements for protecting classified information,” beyond the violation of the executive order reported earlier this week.
Last Friday, White House spokesperson Dana Perino stated that the “president and the vice president are complying with all the rules and regulations regarding the handling of classified material.” This is false. As Waxman makes clear in today’s letter to White House Counsel Fred Fielding, the Bush administration has repeatedly broken its own guidelines for securing classified information:
White House security officers blocked from inspecting the West Wing. The National Archives is not the only agency ensuring that White House officials comply with the requirements for protecting classified information. The White House Security Office (WHSO) also shares this responsibility. Waxman reports today that WHSO employees “have been blocked from conducting inspections in the West Wing of the White House, where most of the President’s most senior advisors work.”
Karl Rove has had his security clearance renewed. Karl Rove has admitted that he publicly disclosed Valerie Plame’s status as a CIA officer. Under guidelines issued by President Bush in 2005, the “deliberate or negligent disclosure” of classified information can be a “disqualifying” condition to receive security clearance. Yet Waxman reports that Rove has had his security clearance renewed “and not altered in any respect.”
White House ignored security breaches, condoned mismanagement. Management at White House Security Office has been unwilling to “take actions that could embarrass White House officials,” a practice “condoned” by the White House, Waxman writes. For example, the office repeatedly ignored security breaches that were reported by the Secret Service or CIA agents, such as when a “White House official left classified materials unattended in a hotel room.” As a result, there was “plummeting morale among White House security officers,” half of whom quit last year.
Since April, Waxman has tried unsuccessfully to arrange interviews with White House officials overseeing security matters. Unless those interviews are granted, Waxman says, he will bring a motion to subpoena the officials on June 28.
Threatening subpeonas is worthless, issuing subpeonas, and sending in the capitol police is another story.
Great picture of Cheney by the way

June 26th, 2007 at 12:59 pmWhen are we going to impeach these people? I don’t care what the politicians tell us - it’s impossible, it’s too difficult, there’s no reason, it won’t happen, and blah blah blah blah blah.
Impeachment is the right thing and the necessary thing to do no matter what the politicians that are protecting bush and cheney tell us.
It’s about restoring the Constitution and the rule of law…

June 26th, 2007 at 1:00 pmI don’t care if the votes are not there to impeach, just some goddamn backbone for once and put this thing on the floor. Show the rest of the world we have laws, we stand for something other than corporate allegiance.
June 26th, 2007 at 1:00 pmI’m increasingly of the opinion that the White House exists in a separate, parallel universe with a vastly different reality from our own, and that they are only connected to our reality through a freak wormhole in the space-time continuum.
This would certainly explain how Dick Cheney is not technically part of the Executive Branch.

Dismantle this illegal, unethical, and un-American regime dubbed the Bush Presidency.
June 26th, 2007 at 1:02 pm#4 We have seen a great deal of nitpicking as to what constitutes a high crime and misdemeanor, but it is obvious from the context that one of the greatest high crimes and misdemeanors is a breach of public trust. This from Article II Section 4.
stopthecons- I think that line says it all.
June 26th, 2007 at 1:06 pmWhy no mention of the unsecured Ashcroft hospital room in which administration officials discussed a classified program in front of Ashcroft’s wife?
June 26th, 2007 at 1:06 pmCan we now friggin’ impeach???
June 26th, 2007 at 1:06 pmYou are failing to phrase the issue in the right terms. This is a matter of why the President fails to protect the security of the United States. Each item should start with how it diminishes the security of this nation’s secrets. “A high ranking official left top secret documents unattended in a hotel room. Several top staff members disclosed Plame’s identity which not only compromised her usefulness, but also exposed all of those working for the front company that provided her NOC identity.” Then get to the procedural items.
Why do we see security lapses endangering national security?
1. The president would rather condone security lapses than be embarrassed by an aide being disciplined.
2. The president has used classification as a means to hide embarrassing information rather than protect secrets. It is no surprise that the presidential staff adopts a cavalier attitude towards security.
3. The president does not want to be accountable thus he will not permit logical audits for security resulting in poor security of our nation’s secrets.
We fail to take the offensive on this matter. Accuse the President of endangering this country. He is. Then talk about the minutiae.
June 26th, 2007 at 1:07 pmOK, this is starting to look like insanity. As soon as I post in one thread about our current dicktatorship, TP posts another article with a new outrage.
They’re coming too thick and fast for me! Can’t……keep……up…….
June 26th, 2007 at 1:08 pmMaybe Cheney was caught stuffing classified national archive documents into his socks and stashing them at a construction site. Then again he might be keeping secret papers in William Jefferson’s(D) freezer. One never knows.

Is this what they mean by Shadow Government?
June 26th, 2007 at 1:16 pmWaxman Threatens Subpoenas?
Subpoena threats? Forget that crap! Dump a wall of subpoenas on Cheney! Cheney wasn’t gentle when he “dump” on the American People, eh? Force, direct and naked, is the only language that a stinking neo conservative understands, especially on as Dick Cheney.

this is false because one Democratic, hater of President Bush and Cheney says so? you have to be kidding, right TP? you don’t expect that the easily fooled moonbats of the left will fall for this type of tactic, do you?
and classified information being mishandled? do you not see the huge hypocrisy on this made up non-scandal?
The left loves giving up State secrets, they love it. Look how the left wing New York Times, Washington Post love reporting on Top Secret programs used by the government to protect us.
or look how Sandy Berger stole Top Secret documents from the National Archieve and there was no outrage from the left.
Please left wing moonbats, you are only fooling yourselves. As usual the hate Cheney idiots are falling all over their feet to make a story out of something the left has never considered important.
If you are outraged by what Cheney haters claim he did, you should have been outraged at what the New York Times did, Washington Post, Sandy Berger, leaky Leahy, leaky DICK Durbin and all the Democrats who have no problem leaking top secret information to the media and the public.

All this post proves, once again, is that we haven’t been teaching Civics in highschool. If impeachment is impossible, and it is, why waste your time on persuing it when you could be doing what Waxman and a number of other Democrats are doing - exposing the missdeeds of the administration. Since they’ve taken over committees, we’ve found out lots of things we wouldn’t have known if Repubs maintained control. How many Bush administration personnel have resigned since Dems took congress?
As in the case of Nixon, impeachment will go nowhere without some Repub support. So far, in the face of overwhelming evidence of constitutional crimes, they will not support impeachment. That’s why persuing it is a waste of valuable time.
June 26th, 2007 at 1:40 pmLooks like the rightards are worried. They know this type of thing will resonate with the American public, and are worried thier cult leaders will end up in prison. Cheney outed a covert CIA agent. When the facts surrounding this case are revealed, it will be shown that this political act actually resulted in associates of Brewster Jennings and Assoc. being murdered. Cheney is guilty of treason and should spend the rest of his life in prison.

2)And who is claiming that he violated the Constitution? Haters of Dick Cheney and President Bush, who are not interested in the USA, but rather in weaking Cheney and Bush. These Cheney and Bush haters don’t care if they are right or wrong, all they care about is weaking the Executive Branch.
3)You didn’t answer anything that I said on my post, like a good walk in lock-step Liberal, you attacked me. Typical. Why don’t you try addressing the points brought up by me.
1-Sandy Berger stole top secret documents from the National Archieve. No one on the left cared. Where is the Congressional investigation into this? where? Democrats have blocked any Congressional investigation into this, why? If they are truly interested in national security, why block an investigation into what Sandy Berger did?
2-If Democrats are so interested in how top secret documents are handled and who they are given to, why not also carry a Congressional investigation to find out how the New York times, the washington post etc get top secret information from democratic informants? why? hmmmm…
please, this is a partisan witch hunt. Only the blind left wing moonbats don’t see this for what it is.

the point is that the same idiots that today are crying about how top secret documents have been handled by the VP office are the same ones that gave a pass to Berger, the same ones that gave a pass to all the White House security breaches during the Clinton administration.
It is not about…Clinton did it too, so Bush and Cheney can do it, but rather, Clinton did it and the left wing didn’t care, Bush or Cheney allegedly do the same thing and all those that didn’t condemn Clinton and claim it was not important back then are not make hell about it.

Despite his prior illegal actions, Karl Rove still retains his security clearance, and knew for WEEKS prior to London’s latest fake terror alert what was coming. The odds that Rove himself advised London precisely what time to make this announcement are approximately 100%.
This gave Rove the time necessary to plan a full frontal assault on the minds of the American People.
Bill O’Reilly revealed Classified information in his recent live interview with Mossad Agent Michael Chertoff. While Chertoff wouldn’t confirm or deny it, O’Reilly revealed that the FISA PROCESS was utilized to obtain warrants prior to placing wiretaps on some suspects in the US. While none of the suspects in the US was deemed to have been involved, this example was clear proof that the FISA Court WORKS – to the chagrin of Gonzales.

Neo-Con Madmen Strike Again - The London Fear Frenzy
Well before Wednesday the administration was aware of Britain’s plans to launch a raid against a possible terror plot.
With the knowledge of a terror-scare coming soon, all day Wednesday the entire Neo-Conservative Republican political apparatus had been busy assailing their political enemy’s supposed unwillingness to fight terrorism. On Thursday the Neo-Con assault intensified and finally peaked when news of the British scheme was made public. Then, in the most vile and unbecoming manner possible, Republicans accused Democrats of having forgotten the attacks of 9/11. Some Republicans were even gleeful enough to remind reporters that with the anniversary of 9/11 fast approaching their attack on Democrats, coupled with the London conspiracy would do wonders for their lagging poll numbers:
“Weeks before September 11th, this is going to play big,” one White House official said.

For Karl Rove, terror is THE GAME.
The timing of the release of this information was not coincidental. Let’s take a look at how many other circumstances coincided with this fake terror scare…
Lieberman was not the Democratic Party candidate - he was quite literally the Israeli candidate.
AIPAC lost to Lamont, cracking the door open for an anti-AIPAC rebellion at the polls.
Less than 36 hours later…
“TERROR IN THE SKIES” was the headline on all news programming in the United States - and CNN would have you believe that the entire world changed that day (again).
The world didn’t change - but CNN’s fear-mongering role in it on behalf of Israel has been clearly exposed.
All of the President’s NeoCons have made it known since Lieberman’s loss to Lamont, just how important Lieberman has been to their agenda - the Zionist Agenda.
They knew that Lieberman would lose, and Rove planned a full frontal attack for the aftermath – which by necessity always leads with a terror scare. Rove even called Lieberman directly to offer his help.
As part of the game – a CNN talking head asks the question…
“Lamont is the Al Qaeda Candidate???”
KARL ROVE WROTE THAT TALKING POINT.
CNN READ IT ON AIR.

It is the Liberal moonbats that love convicting Republicans and Conservatives when there is no evidence and even if there is evidence that proves the Liberal moonbats wrong, you retards still want to convict and punish Republicans and Conservatives.
Look at the left wing imbecile that is still claiming that it was Cheney who “outed” Valarie Plame, when Richard Armitage came out and admitted it was him who did it.
by the way, interesting that Fitzgerals didn’t do anything to Armitage and that the Democrats don’t care it was Armitage who did it, right? you think politics playing a part in this? oh of course not, right? Democrats are not partisan hacks.
you stupid moron.
I give the benefit of the doubt to everyone regardless of party affiliation. But nice try in telling me what I do or don’t do. Typical Liberal moron.

IGNORE THE TROLLS - Debate good, Conservatron just dumb as a sh!t sandwich
June 26th, 2007 at 2:13 pmConservatron: “Why even investigate anything when it is partisan hacks that are making these alligations?â€
I assume you felt the same way when Repubs were spending taxpayer money investigating the Clintons’ Christmas card list.
Conservatron: “It is not about…Clinton did it too, so Bush and Cheney can do it, but rather, Clinton did it and the left wing didn’t care…â€
Can you tell us anything Clinton actually did wrong which was proven and not simply allegation? And, of course I mean anything OTHER THAN lying about a personal affair.
Comment by Ret. Col. Jack Ripper — June 26, 2007 @ 2:06 pm
1)Clinton went to war against Serbia after the UN said it would be illegal to attack Serbia without UN approval. UN approval never came, Clinton still lead NATO into Serbia. The left, the media and European nations applauded his so called leadership in doing the right thing even though the UN said no. (sound familiar, idiot) Bush goes against the UN vote, just like Clinton did and the media and the left go crazy and claim Bush doesn’t care about international law.
2)Clinton not only lied about having sex while tax payers were paying his salary and while he used the Oval Office, but he also committed obstruction of justice by prepping Monica Lewnsky and telling her what to say when she got ont the stand. If you think Libby did wrong, I am sure you believe Clinton did equally wrong, right?
3)I gave Clinton the benefit of the doubt about his perjury and obstruction, but when it came to light that he had actually done it, I agreed he had done wrong. But if Libby is going to jail for these same crimes, why not Clinton? care to explain?
this is just for starters, my intellectually dishonest fool.

June 26th, 2007 at 2:14 pmConservatron, in your household, do ad hominem attacks constitute a good argument? Ad hominem arguments are usually resorted to when a person doesn’t have a cogent argument. The reason Fitzgerald couldn’t get to Cheney is that Libby obstructed justice. That much is documented. What is it about Libby’s obstruction of justice that you don’t understand?

On topic, I don’t think threats will go anywhere as long as Cheney is running around as a free man. A few subpeonas, some investigation would go along way in getting a clean sweep of what our government is up too.

June 26th, 2007 at 2:17 pmAs usual, the “conservative” trolls cannot respond on point, so instead try to derail the discussion with thoroughly-discredited nonsense.
None of them, you notice, have been able to explain exactly why this Vice President can legitimately claim to be in the Executive branch when it suits him and in the Legislative branch when he wants to avoid accountability as a member of the Executive branch.
They can’t explain it, because it’s ludicrous, so they spend their time crying “look over there!” or writing dribble about how much smarter they are than crazy liberals.

Typical Libtard….it wasn’t the blow job, you retard, it was…
1)Getting a blow job during the time he should have been working.
why don’t you go give a blow job during work hours, get caught and then tell me if you keep your job, Libtard.
2)He was beeing paid by tax payers money and when he decided to have an affair.
3)He had an affair with his subordinate. Tell me, in any other job, if you have an affair with your subordinate, what happens? YOU ARE FIRED!
4)He lied under oath, perjury.
5)He instructed Monica Lewnsky how to answer questions. Obstruction of Justice.
the latter too is what Libby was convicted for and the left have asked for the maximum penalty, why didn’t you hypocrites ask for the same when Clinton did it?
and there is plenty more.
Barack Obama did cocaine and yet look how popular he is amongst the left. Bush allegedly did cocaine and the left claim that we should not have a President that did cocaine.
kerry, edwards, obama, clinton, and plenty of other Democrats are constantly giving political speeches and carrying out political acitivities in churches and the left wing in America doesn’t cry Seperation of Church and State.
If a Republican dare to the same thing or talk about God during a political speech the left goes crazy.
You Libtards can’t be so retarded not to see your own hypocrisy, right?
June 26th, 2007 at 2:18 pmCorrection on my part:
Waxman Threatens Subpoenas?
Subpoena threats? Forget that crap! Dump a wall of subpoenas on Cheney! Cheney wasn’t gentle when he “dump†on the American People, eh? Force, direct and naked, is the only language that a stinking neo conservative understands, especially ONE as Dick Cheney.
June 26th, 2007 at 2:18 pmSince the votes aren’t there to actually impeach, I like the approach they are taking.
Once the extent of the lies, deceit, dishonesty, and god only knows how many treasonous acts have been exposed, they will have enough votes to impeach.
And the GOP is done for, at least the neocon slice of it. America is finally waking up that the rubber stampers did so much harm to this country even they can’t dispute it…well, all except those who lack the ability to critically think, which looks to be around 25%. But I suppose there is always going to be ignorance in any populace.

Anyway, carry on.
June 26th, 2007 at 2:33 pmOK, I’m finally convinced that it is, indeed, useless to engage this horrible excuse for a citizen who calls himself “conservatron.” He doesn’t even have the facts correct on his precious Clinton impeachment. And, he couldn’t come up with anything other than that sorry affair with which to base his absurd contention that people overlooked Clinton’s “crime.” I’d like to remind everyone that Democrats in congress called for a censure of Clinton over this affair. And, Clinton was never convicted of perjury, because the lie he told was not material to the case being adjudicated.
I think that the rhetoric of people like “conservatron” proves that the right wing is getting hysterical. It’s only a matter of time before they control NO brances of government instead of all of it. The vast majority of Americans support progressive ideas and many Americans are becoming aware of the scam our corporate media has been playing on us. Bottom line: there day is pretty much over.

Ok. This is going to be difficult, but I’ll try.
The term “balls”, is whats known as a metaphor (pronounced:met-a-for). A metaphor is a word or expresion used to define two or more seemingly unrelated subjects.
For example, using the term “balls” is usually a metaphor for “courage” or “determination”.
It is not meant to imply that the person has, or has not testicles.

I’m sick of Congress, sick of empty threats, sick of what’s become of the Rule of Law and Constitution since those Fascists in the White House took over.

Its great to be mad, and congress does suck, but don’t take it out on Waxman. He’s a pitbull, and he’s keeping the ball rolling.
They can only do what they can legally do.
You condemn the president for not following the rules, but it seems like you are demanding congress breaks them to get the president.
Congress doesn’t have a 2 thirds majority in the senate so they can’t impeach. Period. They can’t do anything other than prove corruption so that it is so obvious that the republicans, mostly who are in bed with the white house, might be willing to uphold an impeachment ruling.
They could vote to terminate authority for the war, but unless they defund it, all it will do is make the president guilty of breaking “one more” law.
I am raging at them too. Pelosi has been absolutely SPINELESS. But Waxman is one of the good ones, who is leveraging his office to the best of his legal ability. That should be applauded, and supported. Not demonized.
June 26th, 2007 at 4:40 pmOne good thing appears to be coming out of this. The endless parade of scandal upon scandal if Finally getting some members of Congress’ attention. I hesitate to say it, but Congressional Oversight may be more that just nice sounding words. At least the administration seems more than delighted to give their opponents endless encouragement and ammunition.

June 26th, 2007 at 5:36 pmPattymac: “Congress is nothing more than a Bell without it’s clapper….useless, unless you need a paper weight.”
Again, more evidence that not teaching Civics in highschool has ramafications. If you can’t override a veto or a filibuster, you can’t impeach. And, they haven’t exactly been useless. Since they control committees we are learning things we never would have without that majority. What we need is a supermajority and a Democratic president. We get that and we’ll be out of Iraq, we’ll have universal healthcare, new muscle for environmental regulations, recinded tax cuts for the top 2%, a complete reevaluation of NAFTA and CAFTA , support for labor and federal funding for stem cell research. In addition, we’ll have liberal judges on the Supreme court when Ginsberg steps down because of cancer and Stevens steps down because of age. The court will then slip back to a 5-4 liberal majority.

I completely concur with your posts at #30, #38, #44, #70, #117. Yours is a voice of reason and understanding in a sea of severe frustration, anger and impatience. Reality and pragmatism must override the impatience to do things that not only won’t work at this time but may well backfire if they are attempted. We are dealing with the most vile and corrupt presidency in the history of this country.
That said, it must be remembered that these people have been around for 30-40 years and we, the people did nothing to stop them or even slow them down. We happily voted them in and fiddled more than happily, through the Clinton years while America was burning and the evil bastards, now out of office, had time to perfect their plan which was presented to Clinton in 1998. PNAC was a fire breathing dragon in our midst that we refused to see or admit to if we did.
So now, after these neo fascists are finally solidly in power, due to our apathy, and have been allowed to change, not only the rules of the game, but the laws we live by, we demand action now. Now…NOW…NOW
Sorry folks, no one on this board is more angry than I am. And no one wants these people impeached and thrown in jail after they have been dealt with by the International community more than me. Sadly we have allowed them to insulate themselves against much that our founding father’s envisioned. It just will take time to nail their asses. Time to gather an overwhelming case legally, not just convincingly, to bring justice about.
The only other alternative is overriding the laws we believe in, is to don some white robes and hang them all from the nearest tree. I am not prepared to that, and I am not about to fly off the handle in frustration and let these evil bastards beat us because we did not have their guilt beyond a reasonable doubt. Libby is a good case in point. We got him but not Cheney. There simply wasn’t enough YET to nail Cheney and it could not be legally be done. Great that Fitz did not pursue a weak case to assuage our impatience. Note he also refused to comment at all on it. Had Fitz blurted out a bunch of stuff, that would have hurt our chances later. That means we have a clear field to prosecute when we do have that absolute guilt.

Wiretapping the enemy was reported to the world long before the NYT reported on it, fool. Not a whimper from Bush or the Repubs in Congress. Here:
Go to CNN.com, search their archives for “Patriot Act,” go to page 38 of the results, and read the article dated 10/8/01 entitled “PC World poll highlights privacy concerns.” Monitoring the communications of the terrorists is hardly a national secret. Let me quote from that article which references a PC World poll:
Are you going to be the first to report CNN and the author of this article to the FBI for helping the enemy? No? I’ve tried several times to get your idiot troll friends to do this, but nobody has bothered. You can find the number to your local FBI field office on their web site.
Re: or look how Sandy Berger stole Top Secret documents from the National Archieve and there was no outrage from the left.

And employees of the National Archives watched him walk right out of the building knowing he had copies of the documents on his person, and didn’t do a g-damned thing to stop him.
Besides, prove how his actions or the information he took away in any way threatened the security of our country.
Re: Please left wing moonbats, you are only fooling yourselves. As usual the hate Cheney idiots are falling all over their feet to make a story out of something the left has never considered important.

June 27th, 2007 at 1:15 amTo steal a good point from Randi Rhodes, if we try impeachment on someone as slimy as Cheney and Bush, can you imagine the lawyers and how much slimy-er they would have to be. I mean, lawyers are already slimy, but to defend these people…yeeesh!
June 27th, 2007 at 3:14 amI’m all for impeachment, but with all the lying that they seem to have no problem doing, all we’ll be able to get on them is obstruction of justice and perjury…they may or may not be removed, and the Democrats will be accused of a witch hunt.
Also, I live in San Francisco, Nancy Pelosi is my Congresswoman, and I think she’s doing an excellent job. Please keep in mind that we barely have a majority in the Senate, and it takes both the Congress and Senate to pass laws that the president will either veto, or sign and then issue signing statements that the laws apply to everyone else but him. He’s done it HUNDREDS of times before. Be patient and hang in there. Look at all that’s come out in just a few months (5 months) since the Dems took control.
To quote Randi Rhodes (okay I wanna have her baby a little bit) “I love the smell of oversight in the morning.”
Keep paying attention!

And when they’re done with Cheney and Bush, they should begin investigations that are long overdue, and have never been investigated, like the theft and destruction of classified national security documents by the national security advisor; like the bribery money disguised as cattle futures profits; who withheld the subpoenaed law firm billing records; what was provided to fugitives, criminals, terrorists and cronies in exchange for pardons; those never investigated, or even mildly inquired into by the press, accusations of sexual assault and even rape; the pilfered FBI files on political opponents; “No controlling legal authority”; Lippo; selling missile technology to the Chinese…
Some smells are worse than others. Yes, there is much work needed to be done.
June 27th, 2007 at 1:36 pmI heard Bush and the Republicans are coming out with an Iraq War Tax so all good Americans can show their patriotism and “put their money where their mouth is” Can anybody give me any detials on this?
June 27th, 2007 at 1:37 pmWiretap Bush and Cheney…

Or, wiretap Newt Gingrich and be hailed as a hero by the liberal media. As I did.

June 27th, 2007 at 4:43 pmBoth bush and cheney belong in flip flops, short towels and the shower room at LEAVENWORTH FEDERAL PRISON with the lights out.
June 27th, 2007 at 4:47 pmWe have to keep after these bastards! Don’t let any issue drop. Don’t be distracted by their BS announcements about Iraq or anything else. They are a far worse enemy than Al Qaeda ever dreamed of being to our country.
Keep filling the Internets or clogging the tubes or whatever with their crimes.
All we have is words, for now. Let’s hope that is all we will need.
I hate to contemplate what we will have to employ if the Internets don’t work.
June 27th, 2007 at 11:06 pmBetter start sounding out military units to see which ones have ever read the Constitution they are supposed to defend from enemies domestic.

June 28th, 2007 at 10:32 amHmmmm. Dana Perino is cute - and she’s a lousy liar; perhaps we could take up a collection and ask her to give Dubya and Darth blow jobs so we can impeach them, eh…?
I’ve got twenty bucks. Anyone else?
June 28th, 2007 at 11:31 amThere need never be an honest, open and just executive office again if these criminal and arrogant un-American activities go unchecked by IMPEACHMENT.
There are only too reasons for not impeaching this president and vice-president:
1.) the ulterior motive to keep these abuses in place so subsequent administrations can use them also; or
2.) the fear of failing and settling for the status quo, thus, disavowing the Constitution and the Bill of Rights and halting the nation’s progress to real democracy.
The nation is bigger than the party and what is the Democratic Party if it accepts this? And in January 2009 what would a new president inherit…and will we be able to vote? Surely you don’t trust them!
June 28th, 2007 at 8:59 pmSo nice to see that Conservatron takes the time and removes his dick from the thirteen year old’s rectum and post his “wisdom” for us all
June 28th, 2007 at 9:57 pmPelosi has little to do with impeaching. She is leaving that to what illegalities Waxman finds and can prove, and eventually suggests as a course of action. She is only the Speaker. She gathers consensus and speaks for them. I suspect she will get behind impeachment if her consituents demand it. This is why we should be speaking to our Reps and Senators and demanding investigations and trials for each member of the Cabinet. One at a time, if need be, but let’s get the court cases rolling and the lawyers budgeted.
Much progress has been made in five months. Too bad it takes so long to present a case.
