Folks — David Brody IS balance on a network that is overwhelmingly liberal and biased against conservative Christianity. If the under-representation of folks of Brody’s background were found towards blacks and Hispanics there would be daily protests in front of the network headquarters.

At a macro level the mainstream media is clearly left. Now, liberals get upset when MTP invites a rightwing jounalist and claim the need for a Fairness Doctrine?!

It is a case of unconsious incompetence, in that they don’t understand how obviously silly the situation is. Take a step back guys (and ladies), and look at the big picture – balance is a good thing.

I remember the topic: Did any of you read the “35 to 25″ statement? That means 35 conservatives to 25 liberal journalists or reporters or pundits. So the bias is 58.3…Conservative and 41.67 Liberal. I gotta say MTP is probably more balanced than a lot of similar shows. Still the bias is there. Maybe because from the past six years all the conservative writers have been getting the MSM attention.

It’s a self fulfilling wheel. The snake that eats it’s tail. The MSM taking care of their own. Tim Russert and his ilk are to use to simple minded approaches to subjects. Thinking and doing their job probably is too difficult for them now. We have to recondition these million dollar media stars by demanding more representative media. Is it too hard to ask for a 50/50 split? The show is Meet the Press, not Meet some of the Press from mostly one side.
