Bush hits record low.
According to a new Fox News poll, President Bush’s approval rating is now at 31 percent, down from the previous low of 33 percent.

Well, you do have a point. Pres. Bush was only voted into office by the US in 2004. He was voted into office by the SCOTUS in 2000 when he stole the rightful election from VPres. Gore.

Whats new is this is a Fox news poll. Not a standard poll. Fox news polls for the President are consistently inflated to cast the president in a more favorable light.
Right now Bush has been polling in the mid to upper 20’s. He is NOT at 31 percent. That is Fox’s number. But whats significant about it is how low Fox is willing to go now. The fact that Fox has him down at a DISMAL 31 percent, shows that even they are beginning to crumble on their support for him, which of course, was his last bastion of media support.

But this feels like the tenth time I’ve read the headline “Bush Hits Record Low,” and the low is always a higher number than the last low. For example, a couple weeks ago the “new low” was 26%. Now THAT is a new low. Yet here we are with the exact same headline and it’s 30%. I understand that the new low is based on the specific polling company, but still, it starts to lose its meaning when its repeated over and over and over again.

Allow me to illuminate.
The “record low” refers to poll numbers by a particular sampling firm. Various firms produce marginally varying results, except of course for Fox, which always shows higher numbers for republicans than anyone else, and lower numbers for democrats than anyone else.
So what this means that you are seeing polling firm after polling firm showing consistently and progressively falling numbers for Bush.

No, I think “Dicks” trial and sentencing hearings will result from violations to the US Constitution, and general treason.
And unless I am chosen as a member of the Grand Jury that goes after him once he’s been removed from office, I won’t have the power to “throw the book” at him. I’ll leave that to Congress and a US Federal Court.
