Let me guess, you teach geography.

Are your computer games censored? Do you not recognize the distinction between what various private citizens might wish to have and that which legislators have actually perpetrated on its citizenry, with help from activist members of the Supreme Court?

Our health care system sucks, it is of poorer quality than that of the rest of the industrialized nations, and the price of coverage keeps going up while the benefits get worse.

The argument that the holy “Free Market” will take care of everything is pure BS. If it’s so great, why are there still children without health coverage right now? There are some things that cannot work if they are controlled by profit driven entities. Health care is one of them.

Our free market buddies will then say that doctors won’t want to work in such a system. According to Michael Moore’s movie, France’s system rewards their doctors when they administer preventative therapy and medicines. The more they do this, the more money they can make. It’s rewards based and they don’t have to ask permission to treat their patients. I think that they might like that!

And I’m sure that they will still be able to go work for a pharmaceutical company if they want to make more money.

Let’s find a good system and do it already!

Actually the proposal this site came up with was more like trying to get more people into opening up radio stations and thus increasing competition within radio – in other words, pro the market dealing with the problem.
