LMAO. Well there’s the reason you told us where this poll was “released” rather than just who conducted it.

Their opinion of what the rest of the world’s opinion is of them. How meaningful.

The war in Iraq has created more terrorists than there were before we invaded it. The real fight against terrorists is in Afghanistan, a war that has been largely ignored by this White House much to our detriment. Our presence in Iraq is fueling the terrorists, our presence is used as a recruiting tool due to the fact that we are seen as an occupying force by the Iraqis. This war has made us less safe. People view us unfavorably because we have abandoned the Geneva Conventions which keep our forces safe from torture.

Torture doesn’t work. It is immoral. Due to scandals like Abu Garaib and Gitmo we have lost our moral authority in the world. Our presence in Iraq has undermined our authority as a world leader. Because the rationale for the Iraq war was largely false in that there were no WMDs in Iraq we have lost our standing as a world leader. If we want to succeed and once again become a world leader we must set a deadline to get all combat troops out of Iraq.

What, do you think they were talking about the United States as… what? The Territory? Beaches and mountains?

As I said… there’s a clear difference between talking about the United States and talking about the American people. For smart people, anyway.

So killing half a million Iraqis is supposed to make them like us eh? Using that logic, I think I’ll go punch a Neocon lover. They’ll thank me for sure!!!!
