War crimes,crimes against humanity,treason,lying,war profiteering,etc,etc, are excellent reasons to Impeach,prosecute and execute ANYBODY.
The prosecution of such criminals is necessary to demonstrate some semblance of decency to the world,otherwise it’s obvious Americans were complacent in the crimes and will be treated accordingly,worldwide.
The empire is crumbling inside and out and the”barbarians” have been at the gates for sometime due to”blowback”,as the CIA call KARMA.
I know there are plenty of good people that are opposed to this administration that live in the states but all will be blamed,as the Germans and Japanese were for a very long time.
BUSHCO have soiled Americans reputations worse than ever and it’s going to take a very long time and a sustained multi-dimensional effort to change the world’s well justified opinion.

Unless impeachment proceedings are implemented, then the history of the George W. Bush adminsitration will read better than it lived. We cannot afford that, considering we must live on this good earth and deal with all people on this earth. The middle east is, again, unstable, thanks to George W. Bush. The more we continue this “crap” in Irag, the more enemies we are breeding. Whatever happened to talking to a perceived enemy. Communicate and be honest with the American public and with the world. This war was wrong. It must end and we must admit to the world that we were wrong. We cannot win this without a lot of honestly and humility. Our sacrificial lamb is George W. Bush, so that we all might live in peace. What’s more harmful to our future? A disgraced President, or a broken country?

Atta, nobody here has there head in the sand after 9/11/01. That’s a complete farse. Simply put, if we would have put half this much energy, money and lives into Afghanistan while continuing to squeeze Saddam with the sanctions and military no fly zones in place there would have already been an internal overthrow in Iraq and we could have supported it without having our soldiers as targets.

So if you continue to muddy up the water by confusing the two (Iraq and who attacked us on 9/11) it will be you who is lost.

Sad sack.

I can’t help but suspect, that all the GOP veterans are speaking out loud now, not so much because they’ve started being reasonable, but because they know Mr Bush is badly damaging their party and it’s accompanying interest groups.

The disgust that so many Americans show for the GOP and the Democratic Party alike, might put an end to the two-party-rule that both are so comfortable with. A honest, independent candidate, like e.g. Vice-President Al Gore, could shake up the system badly. I am very sorry that he seemed to rule out a candidacy definitely.

We had a similar situation years ago in Germany, when what used to be a three party rule was shaken by the successes of the Green Party. Politicians scuttered about panicked like cockroaches when you turn on the light. For quite a while, the ascent of the Greens changed politics for the better, because it reminded the old parties, that being in power was not a given right but was given to them by the people. Sadly, the Greens are as corrupted now as the others (took them about 20 years to get there) but we have a new kid on the block now, “The Left” party.

For Mr Bush this means, that an increasing number of GOP heavyweights is willing to figuratively burn him at the stake in order to hold onto their share of power and influence. And, although Political bombs like the one General Odom detonated here, serve to rid the GOP of a damaging leader, not for the sake of the country but for the sake of one’s own political interests.

So, I’m off now. I got “The Assault on Reason” yesterday and I have some serious reading to do. BTW I bought Glenn Greenwald’s book, too, for good measure, so this should keep me busy until July 21st.
