My God you people are ignorant just as parnsips pointed out. I actually went to read the article. There was nothing insiduous about this at all. The military reported the deaths over a period of time and he was included in two reports. When you understand what they were telling the reader it is clear they are not announcing his death “twice” simply reporting it twice. You DUMMIES.

This is a classic example of why we are losing the war in Iraq. The right hand doesn’t know what the left hand is doing. The killing or capture of al Qaeda leaders in Iraq is of no significant value. Instead we should be focusing on the killing or capture of bin Laden which this administration outsourced to the locals in Afghanistan. Bush let him go at Tora Bora and now we are paying the price for it. From top to bottom all we find in this administration is complete incompetence the likes we have never seen.

On further reflection on the article “Coalition Forces Kill, Detain Terrorists”
in defenselink news, I’ll bet they were wrong the FIRST time when they reported his death. Rather than say so, they’re going to go with the “oops, it’s a historical document” response.
