Libby is a convicted felon who deserves to serve his punishment for 30 months. The commutation posed a conflict of interest for this president. He commuted Libby's sentence to save himself and Cheney from possible prosecution. Libby was one of 7 people who outed a covert CIA agent to get back at her husband a vocal critic of the war who challenged the president's false assertion that Saddam tried to buy yellow cake uranium from Niger. Wilson was right because 16 words were later remove from Bush's State of Union address in the Congressional record. They were removed because Bush knew he was lying. Clinton never pardoned or commuted the sentence of anyone who could have incriminated him if they had gone to jail.

I was thrilled when Bush commuted the sentence of Libby. I really don't believe there are only 13% of us who agree with that. These polls only actually poll 1000 people. That is hardly 300,000,000 as would be needed.

W should listen to the Chinese if he really wanted to silence Libby - http://www.denverpost.com/ci_6340695?source=rss
He merely chose the wrong way in commuting the sentence.

Flaco,

Who on that list was pardoned while Ken Starr was still investigating Whitewater?

Who on that list was pardoned or had their sentence commuted by the President without having to spend a day in jail?

Who on that list had their sentence commuted while the President still had a year and a half to go in office?

Why does Flaccid always do that? Does he think it actually makes some point for him?

Does he think that we believe Clinton never pardoned anybody?

Does he ever say what's wrong with any of the pardons in the lists he cuts-and-pastes?

Very odd behavior. All of the trolls lately, very odd behavior. Is there a full moon coming up or something?

<i>...you will see that only 19% (that’s 13 + 6) think that Libby should have had clemency or a pardon.</i>

And don't forget that some think pardoning Scooter would have been a good thing so that he could not claim Fifth Amendment privileges when testifying before Congress.

<em>"The media is foolishly making up the minds of 66% of Americans. The other 34% have the wit to see through their propaganda.
The President has his powers. He exercised them properly. It’s Done deal. PARDON! Comment by CT_V1"</em>

Apparently you didn't read the article. I often wonder if you asshats actually have the ability to read. If you had read it, and you know how to add two numbers together, you will see that only 19% (that's 13 + 6) think that Libby should have had clemency or a pardon.

That's less that the 28%ers.

Sorry, you lose and will continue to lose.

And only 19% wanted him to get the commuted sentence or a pardon. That's less that the 28% who think that Bush is a good president. Very interesting. There are a lot of Republicans who either think Bush did the wrong thing or don't have an opinion on the matter.

And Ringo, we care. We don't want to see our country and our constitution flushed down the toilet. That is what the Bush Crime Family is doing to our country. If it doesn't bother you, I feel very sorry for you.
