Vitter – hookers while attacking the President for lying about blowjobs

Newt Gingrich-’Mr. Ethics’ – 84 ethics charges ; 2 divorces in part from having affairs – one during the attack on Clinton; violated federal tax law & lied for political purposes with “intentional or…reckless” disregard of House rules.
Current Executive office help poor raise better families with Abstinence as the solution for teen pregnancy â€“ no mention of condemns â€“as policy – then when those children of young mothers in poverty become a problem in the system instead of a part of the system those less fortunate American too often are seen as â€˜the enemyâ€™ & punished as if this is Godâ€™s answer.

If Christ dared to buck the American system politicians would do a hit job on him as an enemy of the state.

Remember how people that spoke out that going to war in Iraq was a big mistake â€“ talk about being squashedâ€¦

Doing God’s will – a philosophy that has been part of the Bush family ethics dating back to relatives aka – 3 former kings of England (acting as chosen by God to be THE SUPER POWER by sword, pen & the Almighty.

Why are so many conservative whackos obsessed with Clinton? He behaves just like one of their own! For some reason, however, itâ€™s impeachable for a Dem but forgivable (by God no less) when some Southern hypocrite dips his Dixie-fried slick willie outside hearth and home. Itâ€™s such a simple argument â€“ Vitter is a typical powerful hypocritical conservative nerd who says what he needs to say to keep his neck from the political guillotine. Sen. Vitter is not cut from the same swashbuckling cloth as other flashier Louisiana politicians who publically admitted their “carnal sins” as they were being committed. Former LA Gov. Edwin Edwards joked before being sentenced to the slammer that “the feds will never touch me unless I get caught in bed with a dead prostitute or a live boy”. Vitter thought that whoring with live prostitutes was OK until he had to fess up to his wife and priest. Vitter claims the priest has forgiven him. How about the wife?

They are so obsessed with Bill Clinton that they cannot move on! It’s incredible, the power Bill Clinton still has – it’s amazing. The man will go down in history as the one person the Repugnant-cans could neither beat nor forget. It just shows what a great and awesome President Bill Clinton was – too bad there are term limits to the presidency. Stalker, yes, I remember Gary Condit. But no prominent Democrats defended him, and he lost in the Democratic primary that closest followed the scandal surrounding his missing mistress. I have no intention to say that Condit wasn’t involved in Chandra’s Levy’s death. However, her body was ultimately found in a park where other young women had been killed; and the police could find no evidence of foul play by Condit.
BTW, wasn’t a woman found dead in GOP Rep. Joe Scarborough’s office?

Vitter clearly showed his hypocrisy in making these statements. Christian conservatives like to claim the moral high ground, yet they have none. Vitter has no credibility and should take his own advise and step down from his Senate seat. Clinton was impeached for a private matter between a husband and his wife. Those who claimed then that he committed serious crimes like perjury and obstruction of justice were the same people who wanted a pardon for Libby for the very same crimes.

Republicans like to apply their moral standards to others but are unable to apply them to other republicans. This is a culture of corruption, and that is why so many republicans were voted out of office in 2006 mostly due to Iraq but also in part due to Foley page scandal and the Ted Haggard scandal. Speaker Hastert and the GOP leadership went out of their way to protect a pedophile. They were wrong to do so.

Yup. Unlike our dear troll friend, I actually have a life. I loved how he twice said that others could have the last word but then couldn’t bring himself to do it.

Mostly because it’s fun. As I said above, I wouldn’t do this on every post, since it has an inevitable side effect of derailing the thread, but this thread was derailed quite quickly, not to mention that there really wasn’t much to say about this topic other than to laugh at the blatant hypocrisy.

Quite likely. The single most effective anti-troll tactic is to ignore them. Unfortunately, human nature being what it is, all too many people just cannot do this. The usual excuse is that they just couldn’t let the argument stand without rebuttal. Well, yeah, actually you can, since the argument is, by definition, self-fisking and stupid and doesn’t need a response or rebuttal.

The second most effective tactic is to counter-troll them and make fun of them. It drives them nuts, as we’ve seen here. It’s also a lot of fun but it, too, can be considered trolling, so I don’t do it very often.

The biggest mistake you can make is to take them seriously and believe that you can get through to them. You can’t. Again, as we’ve seen here.
