This disaster of a war is their mess and no one else's. The policy in Iraq is wrong. The policy has failed because it is flawed. He was told not to invade as sectarian strife would break out. He invaded anyway. He knew Iraq had nothing to do with 9-11. He still continues to make that false claim. He still stands by his decision knowing that Saddam had no WMDs while he and his administration falsely claimed that he did. He was told by both Gen. Casey and Lute among others that the surge would fail, he went ahead with it anyway. Even the Joint Chiefs of Staff came out against this surge, he still pushed for it and replaced Gen. Casey. Gen. Shinseki told him that the war would cost millions, he was fired. He has a history of not listening to good sound advice yet he continues to pursue a disastrous course.
