Conservative pundit on DC Madam list.
The phone number of Jack Burkman, a conservative pundit and strategist, “appears in the database of phone records of the ‘DC Madam’” on 1/15/2006. Burkman, a former staffer for Rep. Rick Lazio (R-NY) and a Bush-Cheney ‘04 staffer, recently worked as a lobbyist for groups such as the Family Research Council, Caring To Love Ministries, and America’s Heros of Freedom. This is between him and his family. Just because he has worked for right-wing interests and candidates isn’t enough reason to pewrsecute him in my book.
Let’s stick with the guys like Vitter, people who have made a meal out of demonizing the very flaws they indulge.

You seem not to understand that the issue is not having sex, but rather the issue is having sex with a prostitute by a person who claims to have higher moral values and selling himself as such; attacking others who do these things as of lesser moral levels.

You should see the Japanese sex spam I get, mostly supposedly from women willing to pay to be sexually serviced. They use characters indicating that the recipient “you” is male, but I, along with undoubtedly a good percentage of the recipients, am female. (There are different ways for writing “you” in Japanese depending on whether the person is male or female; there are also gender-neutral ways.) Unfortunately, for the men who actually fall for such spam, I am quite sure that it is all the sexual equivalent of the Nigerian-style banking/inheritance scams.

If the Republican Party truly believes that what someone does with his or her own personal sex life with another consenting adult is no one else’s business, then stop telling us it’s yours!

Keith, I think you misunderstood. According to most of the Japanese sex spam I receive, the women are willing to pay you. I got one recently from 26-yr. old “Yumi,” who is willing to pay Y200,000 (over $1800) per f–k. And I keep on getting one from a 28-yr. old woman attorney supposedly living nearby who is waiting almost naked for someone to come over and service her for an unspecified price. If any guy is guillible enough to answer one of these, he probably will find some yakuza (gangsters) demanding money from him.

When they get caught betraying the public trust they should be thrown out of office and any benefits, e.g. retirement, secret service protection, etc, should be terminated. They are, almost all of them, toadies and parasites and execution would be too good for them.

He says that a nation founded in servitude, as America was a colony, will never win its freedom. He also says that a nation founded on fertile soil that is easily defended, will in time loose all of its freedoms because it will become, eventually, inevitably, sloth and sated, and will forget to protect them.

One thing I would argue, is that all the lobbyists are in no way private citizens and therefore somehow hands-off. You should know damn well enough by now nothing has done more to corrupt the system than the undue influence of private capital feeding from the trough of public funds. K street is full of of these Lobbyist Pimps soliciting Congressional Whore’s services for high-paying Corporate Johns 24/7/365. I say they lost any precept of protection the label “private citizen” might have provided the second they started trying to influence “public policy.”
