Where are the convictions? Lying and misleading the American people into a war that was decided upon years before 9/11 by neoconservatives who believe the Middle East is a geopolitically strategic necessity for the success and mere continuation of this country and its energy resources. What about retracting the Writ of Habeas Corpus, an act done once in our history, executed by Lincoln who was later “reprimanded” by the Supreme Court? Or maybe We will impeach him for unlawfully wiretapping our telecommunications lines, or leaking the name of a CIA operative, jeopardizing her career and safety in the process, for speaking out against the Iraq War, or the firing of US Attorneys simply because they didn’t fit the White House political (and ulterior) agenda? To name but a few…

Apparently you know very little about early America and only anecdotal info about Ron Paul… At first I was put off by him because he says things that the trolls beat their chests about… unlike the trolls Ron Paul has thought the process through and goes far beyond sound bites. As he makes clear in that Google video to accomplish small government AND not have bad outcomes like facism or out of control barens of industry requires a total BUT GRADUAL switch to privatization… just as the founding fathers wanted… Big government is a result of people using government to fight against abuses by the private sector by legislation instead of through the courts.

If you take any one of Ron Pauls positions out of context and think of them in terms that the trolls use then it doesnt make sense… if you listen… and let Ron Paul explain in that Google video you will see is very capable of putting in the details that the trolls never thought of (mainly because they are dumb followers not thinkers like Paul).

The Consititutional system does work… it has simply been perverted by the civil war and then by the Great Depression and THEN by the military industrial complex…and of coarse by Congress trying to legislate us out of the mess instead of going back to the U.S. Constitution. Going down the big government route has shown its weakness… a big government can be bought off by big business if it isnt based on the Constitution.
