(Ronald Reagan was one of the leads.) The great Canadian actor Raymond Massey played a Nazi officer who gave a big speech about how the Nazis would win because they had the "iron fist." Of course, this being one of our WW II films, the Americans soon knocked out the Nazi officer and escaped. One flyer commented: "The iron fist had a glass jaw." Many scholars say that the reason woman were asked to be silent in the church is because Jesus had liberated them and they were becoming so vocal with their newly-found ability to speak passionately about their beliefs that they were interrupting services. Not to stop them from preaching.
