Right-Wing ‘Path to 9/11′ receives 6 7 Emmy nominations.
ABC’s miniseries The Path to 9/11 has now been nominated for six seven Emmy awards. This “docudrama” was rife with historical inaccuracies that blamed President Clinton for the 9/11 terrorist attacks, while heaping praise on President Bush. It was written by avowed conservative Cyrus Nowrasteh, who once spoke on a panel entitled: “Rebels With A Cause: How Conservatives Can Lead Hollywood’s Next Paradigm Shift.”

Um… I don’t think so. It was a well-done miniseries that barely mentioned Bush, so I don’t see how it “heaped praise” on him. As for Clinton, the miniseries showed how the Clinton administration’s policies of appeasement kill us all.

Perhaps that’s why they’re doing it. In any case, it will open up the “911 painbody” for all americans and what will transpire is the insertion of major contradictions in the official story….which is a great jumping off point for every american. In the long run, bringing attention to 911 all over again will set tongues wagging, whistleblowers whistling, and people coming out of the woodwork en masse to refute the film.

Outstanding cinematography for miniseries or movie
Outstanding music composition (original score) for miniseries, movie, or special
Outstanding sound editing for miniseries, movie, or special

Please note these are mostly technical awards (except for casting and music score), and the techies who determine these nominations could care less about the factual accuracy of the script. For that matter, neither casting nor music score has anything to do with historical accuracy, either.
These Emmy nominations are not any kind of mandate for the legitimacy of the propaganda — although the neocons will certainly try to spin it that way.
