Well, you, I and some other posters are aware that “Time” is hardly a liberal magazine. But probably some or even many rightwingers think it is. In any case, I thought “Time” had a bit more respectability than Faux News, however, by hiring Broken-Kristol-Ball, it is losing even that.

What I find so humourous about this is how the left always gets in such a hurry to dis-associate itself from itself when the tides of public opinion swing the “wrong” way for them. Come on, people! Embrace your radicalism!! Stand tall!! Why try to hide it?

Imagine any Presidential candidate showing up at a KKK convention and folks saying “awwwh, shucks, it’s ok..that convention is independent of the various KKK websites on the net..” It simply isn’t going to happen.

JetBlue wouldn’t have run scared if they didin’t have reason to. If you “.001 percenters” had even close to a majority, you should have been calling JetBlue and supporting them in droves. Every seat on a JetBlue plane should have been filled with folks proudly cackling their hatred of Dubya from now ’till Kingdom Come. In short, every flight could have been a miniature KOS convention!!!

What actually happened? The majority DID speak. Regular Americans instantly stood up and rejected JetBlue’s support of the radical left, and JetBlue folded their hand.

Which, for JetBlue, was a wise business move. Better to fold a losing hand, than lose the whole farm.

I’m with Merlin as far as Time goes (the magazine, not Merlin the Wizard living backwards in time.) I’ve always understood Time to be more right-of-center. But you’re right, whenever Kristol and his ilk are given a soapbox, there’ll be idiots out there who’ll believe the lies they tell. Maybe we should start praying with Sandy? ;-)

I would expect no less from Time. It is trash, and not some great pillar of Centrism, as it is sometimes seen. (Time Man of the Year, etc. indeed!)
Sadly he is afforded exposure, and to the people not following reality he can appear as a strong and knowledge pundit.

I often think of how Sadaam ranted his rubbish at his trial in utter denial of the reality all around him. The neocons are entering that water, I feel, and will sound more out of it as time goes on. They will resort to stronger and harsher salvations, (like invading Iran or more involvement with God-Bush) to justify and prove they are right and the world is wrong.
We not only have to drown these rats politically as they try to flee the Ship of State, we have to see that they stay drowned, and not allow them to resurface as Elliott Abrams has. They need to be outed and shown to be the rats they are every time they surface.
