I’m a big Terry Pratchett fan, and the phrase is used often in his books. Excellent British satirical fantasy– if you’ve never read any of his work, I heartily recommend it.

Yes, Thrasymachos and the rest of the dead-enders now numbering somewhere around 20% do indeed live in caves, and wear blinders. They are the equivalent of osama and his mountain men in every way, including their hatred for the constitution and rule of law. Impeachment would answer his question very well, as all the charges were aired. the few morons left defending Bushco are very much afraid of impeachment, as it will signal the final, glorious end to the Republican Party for all time.

It’s perfectly obviously that Cheney is in the background using Mind Control on Bush. Read Up on this people! Cheney is GW’s handler ….

People who have printers can download and print their own. Cards need to be printed front and back on 8.5 x 11 cardstock available at Staples, Office Max or Sam’s Club. Color or Black and White printer. Print one out and use a Xerox copier. Four cards are on a sheet printed front and back. Space to add their own words. Sign and mail. SO EASY A CAVEMAN CAN DO IT.
WE MUST IMPEACH NOW!
The Bush administration has been carefully and quietly placing executive orders and presidential directives in position. These are documents not reviewed or approved by Congress. News of these are not picked up by the regular media.

Americans are in imminent danger of waking up to a takeover the next time there is a natural disaster or a terrorist farts. These documents will choke the legal system. The judges Bush has appointed have sworn an oath to the president, as was testified to by Monica Goodling, witness in the ongoing Judicial Senate hearings. They will be the ones who decide whether the directives and executive orders are legal or not.

Bush peoples’ backs are against a wall. They must keep the public from learning about their illegal and criminal acts and future plans. Executive privilege is being leveled indiscriminately to keep this information secret. With so many people demanding impeachment and accountability, they know the end is near unless there’s a declaration of emergency powers which will nullify Congress and subject Americans all to lose our legal rights under the constitution.

However, Cheney knew that his country needed him, and the brave man was willing to do his part as Vice President of the USA.

TRoS, I always liked the expression “bugger off” – maybe I’ll start using that one instead of, well, some of my more colorful (blue) expressions! :D

Whew… sorry, just had to get that out of my system.

I read an entire thread from start to finish yesterday, just trying to follow the flow of the conversation, and I have to admit, when the thread degenerated into name calling and endless vlugarity, it got a little embarrassing.

There is a point to be made about taking the time to think out a meaningful, articulated response as opposed to just telling someone to “Go F*ck yourself…”

And then, occassionally calling someone a tosser and suggesting they bugger off is totally appropriate, too.

Nice win yesterday!! Very encouraging, especially this time of year. We are down to 64 games now.
