What the trolls ALWAYS leave out is that this is most probably due to the fact that the war is still going on and the public generally want MORE liberalism, not less. They feel cheated that the dems are being moderate and not truly liberal! The democratic primaries will be most interesting next year. I just hope we don’t see another Lieberman stunt where Rethugs pull their ultraconservative vote to keep a more moderate potential “fillibuster vote” in office preventing the true majority of liberalism. Rethugs compromising their morals + the true moderate vote = beating the liberals. Agh! We need instant run-off voting for races with more than two candidates!!!!

I can’t wait until there’s a poll out that puts numbers on this. All they need is to ask the question “why” and all the people thinking there’s a conservative majority will have to stick their heads in the sand to avoid the truth. Either that or they’ll revise history to say that democrats (in particular Hillary and Edwards) started the war and the rethugs just want out so, therefore, they are truly inline with the people’s wishes.

Yeah good thing there are some Dems in Congress, or the poll would have a Repubk Congress at 18%, oh wait weren’t they there last year?

Looks like you forgot about all the Republicans in Congress. It’s not the Democrats that keep the ratings in Congress low, it’s the Republican obstructionists and all the Republicans that support the death of our military by refusing to end this war in Iraq.
