No. There is no amount of money, no amount of questionable tactics that would ever win Cheney the Presidency in 2008. The man is too well known and too widely reviled to ever have a chance. Some of the 25 percenters would vote for him but nobody else would. That is just too big a gap to fill through any of the means he has available to him.

And that’s assuming that he would get the Republican nomination, something that is far from assured. Republican primary voters are not all completely stupid. They know Cheney has no chance in hell and they would vote for anyone-but-Cheney to keep him from really sinking the party in 2008.

I am a conservative republican, and these so-called republicans *i.g Bush/Cheney/Gonzales/Reagan/Nixon/Republicans in general*, have disgraced themselves, and everything that our nation was built upon with their “liberal” spending and lawmaking. conservative means you “conserve” meaning to use less. Liberal means to use more freely, so it seems to me that these terms have been confused in a very curious manner. I wonder where that began. If you want to see a”real” republican conservative platform, just watch 3 videos about Ron Paul. It will remind you what a conservative really is meant to be. It’s time we remind these people that the constitution is not just a “damned piece of paper” as quoted by Mr. George W. Bush.
