There's something very absurd about the most powerful nation on earth suffering from a victim mentality - and carrying a massive chip on its shoulder to go with it. I’m confused. It’s possible that I don’t understand, because I’m not an American… But it seems to me that the consensus of American opinion is:

People of Muslim background destroy an American landmark = Muslims are the terrorists.

America invades a Muslim country – that appears to have little (if any) connection with 9/11 – and entirely cripples their economic, political, and social structures = Muslims are still the terrorists.

There’s something very absurd about the most powerful nation on earth suffering from a victim mentality – and carrying a massive chip on its shoulder to go with it.
