Pitman? Because I, like Stacy, rescue them and know better than most people what great dogs they are. I have also participated in humane investigations and I know first hand that people that participate in this would kill a human in the blink of an eye. However, people just don’t get it, it’s not a damn contest.

There are two logical problems with this argument. First, the slippery slope argument always has the problem of causality- you have to prove that animal abuse is legitimately a gateway crime for other offenses. Second, there is a false dichotomy: lets assume that sure, animal abuse is a gateway to greater offenses and that this should be considered in evaluating its severity. Shouldnt the same logic be applied to rape? ie: Rape is a gateway crime for worse offenses, and this should be considered in evaluating its severity.

We could focus on resolving problems instead of subscribing to the fatalist idea you have mentioned. It’s those kind of thoughts that lead the world to the state it’s in. Think of economists who make the statements “In the long run we are all dead” as a reason to not worry about the long-run costs.

Yes, I have thought of that. That’s why I long for the days when the human race destroys itself. It will happen. We as a special are too greedy and self centered. Maybe we wouldn’t have awful acts like rape if we weren’t. But no, we insist on raping each other and committing other heinous acts not only against our own but other species (such as dogs) as well. Perhaps after we have destroyed ourselves, math will calculate a better evolutionary species.

It’s not alright to have people shouting their disgusting beliefs in a way that other people think they’re normal and acceptable.

Both crimes are horrible and every person should know that. If you want to make a stupid comment saying that dogs are more valuable than women, why don’t you use your real name and include your address to. Or would you rather just insult people and make them feel horrible while you hide behind a moniker. Everyone can be hurt, don’t think you’re a better person because you attack someone and they cannot retaliate because all they know about you is your an idiot who goes by a name like ‘pitman’.

Sports is about as useful as the arts. Both are a waste of time an energy. Math and science are all we need to progress and evolve as a species. I’m not opposed to keeping fit and not opposed to the use of proper language to better communicate with each other. But football, baseball, painting, theater, and the likes are pointless gestures to make money and create dissension. Sometimes I miss the days when we stood under the threat of nuking ourselves. Too bad we didn’t.

2) How is rape related to abuse of dogs or vice versa? They’re not. They’re both bad and they’re difference abuses.

3) When is the media and our culture going to start taking rape seriously as a crime? And all the related offenses against women such as domestic abuse, stalking, harrassment at work, etc.? How did we go from 1970 to 2007 and then back to 1950 in terms of respect and rights for women?

One can imagine the super-powers one could have with super-underwear.
