Just take a moment to think about those words and the negative implications they were intended to convey in reference to Mr. Tillman’s alleged atheism. Then think about the crude and obviously intolerant comments made by Lt. Col. Ralph Kauzlarich as to the belief that Tillman and his family were “atheist” and have nothing left to believe in but a son who is now “worm dirt”. Nice Christians (?) these folks are! Given O’Neal denial of those last words from Tillman and the fanaticism of some of the self righteous fundamentalist and their intolerance of other people’s beliefs, it seems completely obvious to me that his “last words” were contrived by them which implies an attempt to cover-up and justify what happened to this fine heroic man. His family seems well educated, articulate and most likely with fine moral and ethical convictions. May the truth come out! It seems unlikely that such a risk would be ordered from Washington. Mr. Tillman’s teaming up with Noam Chomsky would not please them, but would not have been a threat they could not have handled given assets like “The Mighty Wurlitzer” as their massive propaganda machine is sometimes called.
