We finally get an acknowledgment (by someone in the White House) of a mistake and a recognition that things are not going so swimmingly in Iraq . Better late than never, I guess. Although he still stands by the president’s “surge”…

I think I would get some agreement that the disruptive children have been particularly vile over the last few days. I, and others, have asked TP to take corrective measures and, it seems, we are seeing some positive results.

We, the users, have some responsibility as well. We need to avoid responding to abuse and threats with abuse and threats. That, along with some stricter supervision from TP, should quickly restore TP to the fun, if contentious, forum we all enjoy.

ok, maybe you can tell me what “benchmarks” does the united states congress need to reach before we can declare victory in iraq?

that most of the 9/11 hijackers were from saudi arabia…

this story is mostly about more WELFARE from US to one
of the wealthiest countries in the world…
not to mention that many of the “terrists” in iraq now
are from saudi arabia…

I agree with the Congressmen, in that I believe the weapons sale is wrong.

However, I do not feel that the 9/11 attack is a valid justification. The Saudis, as a nation, and the 15 Saudi hijackers should not be painted with the same brush.
