This story here tells you that a general who knew that the story was covered up from day 1 still kept that coverup going to the point where he was recommending medals based on a lie……

I regret that I haven’t been keeping up with developments as well as I should, but wasn’t this alone “tampering with evidence”? It certainly appears, if nothing else, like they didn’t want some kind of information to get out. But why? And what was that information?
