Whether or not Jerome Hauer is a Democrat is hardly the issue here. It be quite obvious that keeping the city’s crisis control room in the World Trade Center was not a good idea, in light of the previous terrorist attack on it. And the fact, which has been pointed out by other sources as well, is that Giulani wanted to keep it there. But I realize that facts mean little to those who deal in rightwing spin.
