Didn’t the pro-war groups in Vietnam say the same thing? another 6 months, lets give the South Vietnam government time to get it together, we will stand up, when they stand down?

In Vietnam, the North had won decisively. They had the guns and the ammo. Armed resistance in the South had pretty much come to an end. Then the "reeducation camps" were opened and the killing began in earnest. In Iraq, all the factions are well armed and will continue to be after we leave. Bloodbaths don't happen when both sides have guns and know how to use them. It really would be nice if some of you crazy wingers would read some serious history. Or, STFU.
