Roadside bomb attacks reach all-time high.
The Independent reports, “Roadside bomb attacks on American troops in Iraq reached an all-time high last month, accounting for more than one third of all combat deaths.”

We don’t need to hear from Petraeus or Crocker in September, it is clear by the level of violence and the lack of political progress that the surge is a resounding failure. The Joint Chiefs of Staff didn’t support Bush’s surge neither did Gen. Casey. They knew it was a poor policy.
