I agree that Romney should not influence his son’s decisions about joining the military any more than he should vote for military action that requires other peoples children to die needlessly.

That’s a little old to enlist. But I’m sure all the 36 year olds here rushed and signed up to be sent to Afghanistan!

Let’s see, 36 now, that would have made Josh 21 in 1991, the last time we went to war in the Middle East to protect our oil. Perfect enlistment age. But as usual, don’t expect Repugnican kids to take arms to serve our country. That’s a job for Leona Helmsley’s “Little People” (euphamism for “the rest of you”).

Nor are you, Len. You’ve asked many people here why they’re not in Afghanistan but yet to explain why you aren’t there or in Iraq.
Ditto for you, Dr. Dog-doo, you’ve called several people here cowards for not being in the military and accused veteran Wayne of lying about his service, but you haven’t explained why you’re not in the military, Mr. Hypocrite. Certainly if you have had the time to post the same results from an old poll about the percentages of Dems and Rethug-supporters in the military around a dozen times, you could have found the time to tell us why you aren’t in the military.
Finally, why should Chelsea Clinton join the military, when neither of chickenhawk Bush’s–not to mention, neither of Dickhead’s–has?
